Business As Usual November 2022: Luke Solomon & Stefan Ringer

We're thrilled to welcome label regular Samuel Dictus back to Blue Magenta with 'Rise', a progressive track that showcases his signature sound. Driven by deep, house-inspired rhythms, a solid bassline and melancholic synth chords, the track is elevated further by a 90s-style female vocal that adds the perfect finishing touch. It's another outstanding release from the talented Dutchman who continues to deliver his unmistakable magic.

Gianpaolo, aka Savile, first graced the decks at Hot Mass in early 2016, delivering an excellent, extended warm-up set before Volvox took the reigns.  Being the stellar DJ and beaming ray of humanity that he is, we couldnt help but invite him back to program the entire night a few months later.  This time around, Savile invited Argot label-mate and fellow great human, Stefan Ringer, to share the decks.  This is an excerpt of their 7+ hours in the booth that night.  Stefan soundtracks the first two hours and Savile take the last two. Enjoy :)

This time on FPR, we're joined by two all time faves of the FP camp - Stefan Ringer and Casino Times. 

Casino Times is the project of UK producers Joseph Spencer & Nicholas Church. The duo have released a broad swathe of dance music via labels like Futureboogie, Permanent Vacation, Omena Records & Wolf Music. They're also behind the white label Casino Edits series, which released the fifth edition last month. Their next release is due on Cimmerii’s ‘Universal Language‘ label this spring, featuring two original tracks that explore the frustrations of communication in a digital age. They threw us a mix that just bumps.

After that, it is time for Stefan Ringer. Stefan, fka REKchampa, is a DJ and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. Since he started releasing music in 2010, he has built up a wild discography on NDATL, PPU, Argot, and his own imprint FWM Entertainment. He is an influential force in Atlanta’s dance community, with a residence at the Sound Table with Ash Lauryn, and his own monthly party called Kudzu. Stefan is one of the most sound people around, and this mix is absolutely one for the books.
