Knoxville, Tennesee's @alex-falk is one of those artists who's been quietly and consistently DJing, producing, and organizing for years. His tripply, bubbly release on Allergy Season last year, "OOF", made it into countless sets and mixes, and his DJ set at Honcho Festival last summer (where we first saw him) rearranged brains. Alex is also an organizer of DIY events as part of the TEKNOX collective in Knoxville, throwing free parties in an unconventional space.

"This mix was recorded at my home in Knoxville, Tennessee to share with Spontaneous Affinity. I included tracks with a pretty wide range of moods that I’ve enjoyed listening and dancing to the last few months.

It took me a few tries to thread the needle between some of these pieces but I think I am happy with the result! Although I might be known for producing Techno, my DJ sets wander in and out of that box a bit and I think this mix is representative of that."

what feels like a lifetime ago, straight from the Club Bubble 1 headquarters on May 25, 2020 ~ my set for virtual Industry Brunch. what would have been the rave family gathering under the acid soaked sun in Detroit, with quarantine in full effect Industry Brunch instead took to the world wide web.  NBFC love was strong in the chat for a day of amazing music from some of the loveliest people i have ever come to know ~ my rave family (Sassmouth, Acid Daddy b2b Dana, Pat Bosman, Christina Chatfield, Shawn Rudiman, Titonton Duvante, ViiV, Clinker)

harnessed all the love and emotion for this set ~ thank you Acid Daddy & Dana for providing the space for all of us to freak together! thank you everyone who was deep in the chat for it and on the ride with me. y'all had me laughing and crying with some of those messages! and if you weren't in the www rave space, i hope you enjoy it here. cheers 2 friendship xoxo
