You can tell music royalty runs in the blood of The Slopes aka Joel Jackson. This mix is a killer and holds no regards to boundaries within genres, this mix is strictly about the music. Expect some melody, Breaks & faster BPM as the mix progresses. 

The Slopes is more akin to live music performances and creating vibey music in his studio with his voice so we feel blessed that he's done his first ever DJ mix for us, not that you can tell it's his first. This mix has pedigree way beyond the South Coast natives years on The Earth. The yung G has proper delivered here.

We chose not to include a tracklist as discovering new artists and tunes yourself is half the fun, right? Also, asking for ID's that will be ignored is amusing.

S - Capade got into the sound of hardcore jungle in the early nineties. Based on his background as a drummer he supported many DJ sets and then soon after became a DJ himself. Starting out his new found vocation he played a number of pirate Radio stations in Europe and swiftly moved onto the underground club scene. Adding to the DnB industry further he started promoting events and soon after became part owner and resident DJ at the legendary Massive Tunes and Oxygen events in Aachen, Germany. 
This EP is further evidence that S - Capade has a great love for the music and its many styles, fitting perfectly into Architecture Recordings’s philosophy. Originality and innovation at the centre of the ARX mindset.
Never failing to “rise” to the occasion, S - Capade delivers a solid EP, which is action packed from start to finish. He also teams up with the highly talented SIN on the EP, showcasing a great synchronicity in sound. More breakbeat wizardry from Maverick Friske on his now buy on sight imprint Requisite with two more cuts of masterful yin vs yang futurized Drum & Bass.

“Reprizal” aims straight for the jugular with chest out stabs, growling subs and B Boy attitude whilst Apache breaks duel back and forth in an apocalyptic call and response.

Flip for the aptly titled “Light Beams,” where neon synth horns and hypnotizing arpeggios wash down in waves of atmosphere, shining warm sun rays through the Jungle canopy of clattering breaks and 808 groove to bring early morning dancers back out of the darkness.
