We have been waiting for this moment for a long time, a collaboration between two of the most talented rising stars in the scene: Billy Gillies and Allen Watts. Individually, they have already shown their ability to conquer people's attention, ears, and body flow, and they decided to put together their two minds in order to establish new standards with a unique piece called Afterburner. 

Afterburner was produced with the purpose of understanding how much the trance scene has been progressing, being able to keep the old feeling alive. A truly energetic uplifting piece with a techy progression providing an outstanding main melody, which will show you the way to touch the sky.

In order to give a darker impact to this beautiful production, we discovered at the perfect time one of the producers of the moment, Allan Morrow, who has been on fire lately on A State of Trance. He converted the original sounds into a dark and angry version, but at the same time maintained the main melody beautifully, keeping its peaceful and emotional aspects. Keep an eye on this talent.

As if that wasn't enough, we are privileged to have one of Holland's fastest rising producers on the remix for us - Allen Watts add's his uplifting touch to this remix emphasising the punch and drive from the percussion and bass.

Paul Thomas presents UV Radio 414 - Trilucid Takeover

There's a lot to think about when playing an early set for such an iconic old clubbing brand like Godskitchen, especially when it's a 25th anniversary show at Amnesia in Ibiza. I need to make sure I stay true to my current sound, while throwing in memorable tracks and moments from back in the day. I need to make sure those classics I do play aren't obvious ones that are peak time and the ones everyone else will think of playing on the night. I need to place those records carefully, depending on how long it takes for the room to fill up (the club was packed on this occasion!), and how the energy is going. And I need to be considerate of which DJ is following me, and also the general flow of the night on a whole, while marrying the expectations of the people on the dancefloor. This is what I went for, and I think it's worked out ok :)
