Established by Bønehead in 2021, New Delhi based community driven record label, magazine & internet radio - Bøne.FM presents the label’s debut compilation with the effort of artists from around the world showcasing their most ambitious work. Being a genre fluid label the V/A goes from progressive ambient to bass fueled club tracks, melodic house tunes and some experimental work in between. This makes the listener’s experience a quite fulfilling journey.

Deeply influenced by the sub-heavy sounds, Panik focuses on bringing the bass music with various styles ranging from dubstep to jungle and everything in between. Hailing from New Delhi, India, Panik revolves around intricate percussive patterns, and deep heavy basslines. He intends to experiment with alot of Indian inspired sounds reflecting his true identity, by providing a perfect blend of various genres and styles combined with deep, dark and tribal elements with hypnotic atmospheric textures.

Grifter160 x Scarlett Star are a Baltimore based dj team out of Baltimore Maryland. They also operate Juke/Footwork label Gun4Hyre, who are also artists for UK based label Moveltraxx. Specializing in hard hitting melodic tracks at 160 BPM their aim with Gun4Hyre is to continue to facilitate inclusiveness for all genders and races to be able to showcase their art while also keeping true to the music and culture of footwork.

Exploring the limits between UK Rave, Hardcore continuum, Bass Music and Jungle.Two sides, two artists each. On the A Side we have Denham Audio: the Sheffield Trio and Exploris, Durkle Disco and Nineteen Ninety Four affiliate debuts on BMRec with two post-rave tracks, “Lift Off” and “Who Started Jungle”, which will you remember the ol’good times. Dancefloor smashers, for sure!
The A Side is completed then by a remix of “Who Started Jungle” made by Coco Bryce: the legendary dutch producer twists the original vibes in a proper Modern Jungle anthem full of heavy basses, amen breaks and ambient landscapes. 

Then, on The B Side we’ve the pleasure to welcome Mani Festo: after releasing materials on Swamp81, Durkle Disco and Corrupt Data the London producer drops two tracks at high voltage, “All Potential Badboy” and “Ruffneck”.

Polish Juke’s first release of the year (and in over a year!) comes from a home-team heavyweight. Half of the iconic We Rob Rave duo, DJ, producer and engineer whose sonic imprint is present throughout the label’s catalogue - from his own productions all the way to his mastering work. Dubsknit, this time under an eerily similar alias SKNIT, delivers another installment into his extensive discography right to your doorstep in the form of a hectic six-tracker - “LOOP”.

To kick things off, right off the bat we’re hit with a loud and blasting double-header of “SLUSH” and “HEAT”, where thick kicks intertwine with synthetic and roaring sounds and skeletal melodies. As the artist himself mentions, to go a little bit against the grain of the infamous, lush WRR work, he decided to strip things down a notch and focus on the electro-infused, dubby bare bones of dance music. Right in the middle of the record, we’re headed into ravier territories, with four-to-the-floor, very Chicago-esque aesthetics of “FOOSY” and beautiful vocal chops of the energetic “YO FREE”. What follows is a peak-time bomb with the We Rob Rave running mate PZG called “BLOOD” which will most definitely turn out to be both a crowd and DJ favourite. To shut things off, SKNIT serves the halftime-leaning, euphoric “I COULD LOVE” with yet another example of his amazing understanding of working around vocals, reminiscent of the many hits in the We Rob Rave/Dubsknit realm.
