For the last years he has been producing music almost all the time. When he finished school in the summer of 2015 it all accelerated quickly. After being highlighted of @Soulection, a collab with @Zensupremacy and being featured on @Moovmnt he’s now working on his debut EP.
Keep an eye on this youngster as he promises to be the next big thing.

Swindle and Silkie make sound system smashing grime and dubstep with a stylish, totally soulful touch. After having worked in separate circles for some time (Swindle with heavyweight tracks on Planet Mu and Rwina, Silkie with two stunning albums on Deep Medi) they came together on 'Unlimited', a collaboration forthcoming on Butterz. The track is a perfect example of the bass heavy but irresistibly funk inflected sound that the pair have been championing. It's a 140bpm banger that splices grime attitude, dubstep weight and an ear for melody that sets dance floors on fire. The duo also stepped into the booth together for the first time recently, making light work of dropping groove laden grime and dubstep jams. Earning praises from a worldwide range of selectors that include the likes of Dam-Funk, Tama Sumo, San-Soda, Mike Huckaby, Jamie XX and 2562, Dean aka the Funk Bast*rd (one half of the Cosa nostra duo and co-founder of Singapore-based label Darker Than Wax) has been tirelessly pushing and promoting an alternative expression of leftfield music through his widely eclectic and genre-bending sets. Being the main A+R and creative mastermind behind DTW, the label has flourished tremendously over  the past 5 years, cementing its place as one of the go-to labels out of South East Asia.

His musical selection, which traverses between a huge variety of musical genres like deep jazz, soul, funk, boogie, brazilian grooves, house, techno, breaks, hip hop and bass numbers have left many indelible marks on the dancefloors.
