VI is a mysterious new project based around the symbol visualized in the artwork. The artist behind this project is already established in the scene, but wanted to take a step back and focus on his production and writing skills. Together with Grammy award winner @Nikki-Cislyn and stunning newcomer @PoppyAjudha, VI created an EP where the sound and collective vibe are the focus.

Since we loved the first two singles of the "VI" EP (forthcoming on LadenLife) it was a no brainer when we got the opportunity to premiere the third and final track titled "Odds Of Life". This song really grows on you due to it's massive soulful Reggae groove and features miss Nikki Cislyn on vocals.

The "VI" EP drops later this month and for the time being VI is giving away a limited free download!

Alongside his trademark sound, Till von Sein exudes an aura of noble grandeur mixed with the genuine enthusiasm of a child with a favourite toy when he’s busy in the DJ booth. But Tilly’s toy, which in this case is house and its countless derivatives, won’t ever end up forgotten in the corner. Long after the wrapping paper has been thrown away, what Till loves has yet to lose its magic. For von Sein, the sound of an 808 clap triggers a state of ecstasy, which in his hands emerges as pure euphoria on the dance floor. Time and again, his thumping transitions and heart-racing sets send listeners into overdrive, revealing the very core of house, soul and techno, while hitting on just what makes these genres so exciting.

Despite his intimate knowledge of the industry, which might allow him to slip easily into a been- there-done-that attitude, Till von Sein shows non-stop enthusiasm. For the last ten years, he has run the internationally active Clique Bookings at the side of Claudia Marquardt. More recently, his work as a producer has grown to encompass a vast catalogue of releases on labels such as Suol, Dirt Crew and Supplement Facts. He has collaborated with artists such as Tigerskin, Aera, Chopstick and Catz’n’Dogz, and his DJ work has long been a fixture in the international club scene. 

After his 2011 solo album “#LTD” (Suol), von Sein enjoyed a fully booked calendar and successful tour through South Africa, Japan, USA and Europe. He continues to ride a wave of success. In 2013, he released his personal contribution to the Suol Mates mix series as well as a series of new EPs. A line of output that culminated in the 2015 release of “Precious”, his second solo-album for Suol. Upcoming projects for the nearer future include a joint venture with producer and friend Tigerskin.

This 19 year old kid is only at
the start of his promising career. The very talented Jengi Beats signed to Sony Publishing not long a go after he joined the KLEAR agency.
For the last years he has been producing music almost all the time. When he finished school in the summer of 2015 it all accelerated quickly. After being highlighted of @Soulection, a collab with @Zensupremacy and being featured on @Moovmnt he’s now working on his debut EP.
Keep an eye on this youngster as he promises to be the next big thing.

''This mix contains songs I really like the last few days, which has almost the same influences as
mine. A combination of disco, funk and house is my favorite to listen, create and perform on stage.

We are about to embark on our first DTW European miniTour, with shows in London, Leeds and Berlin confirmed. I will be linking up with the team of Melo-zed, Jaël, Silo and Jasper Staal, and can't say enough how excited it feels to be meeting these folks IRL soon.
Also, Jamz Supernova has very kindly invited us for a takeover on her BBC 1XTRA show on the 8th, so things are moving in a strong way right now. Grateful, but most importantly, I hope to see you folks in one of these dates.

Fresh off the EU tour, we had such an inspirational time connecting with the various communities in London, Leeds, Manchester and Berlin. The highlight for me personally was the opportunity to jump on a guest mix for mr Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Fm at the fabled Brownswood basement.

Earning praises from a worldwide range of selectors that include the likes of Dam-Funk, Tama Sumo, San-Soda, Mike Huckaby, Jamie XX and 2562, Dean aka the Funk Bast*rd (one half of the Cosa nostra duo and co-founder of Singapore-based label Darker Than Wax) has been tirelessly pushing and promoting an alternative expression of leftfield music through his widely eclectic and genre-bending sets. Being the main A+R and creative mastermind behind DTW, the label has flourished tremendously over  the past 5 years, cementing its place as one of the go-to labels out of South East Asia.

His musical selection, which traverses between a huge variety of musical genres like deep jazz, soul, funk, boogie, brazilian grooves, house, techno, breaks, hip hop and bass numbers have left many indelible marks on the dancefloors.

It’s no surprise then that he has played alongside some of the world’s finest like Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Kyle Hall, Lefto, Recloose, Gerd Janson, Basic Soul Unit, Linkwood, Norman Jay, Souleance, Pearson Sound, Krystal Klear, Tiger and Woods, Mike Huckaby, Seven Davis Jnr and most notably, warmed up for Dj Ez, Fourtet and Dam Funk.
His sets have also taken him around the world, playing most recently at Dimensions Festival in Croatia, various cities in Europe, Asia, and Brazil. In 2016, Funk B was also invited on BBC 1XTRA, Rinse RM, Radar Radio, and swung through the legendary Brownswood basement of Gilles Peterson with a 2-hour exclusive Worldwide FM mix. He is also a regular presenter on Gilles' Worldwide Fm, transmitting good vibes every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
