The E.P is called 'Turn Off The Light', named after the first single on the release.

‘Turn Off The Light' was the second track created together after forming the project back in 2016 and was written and arranged in a single studio session in April 2017.

We are excited to welcome Australian artist Moontide to the Earthly Measures family with his truly beautiful EP 'Dreams Within Dreams' including remixes from Kusht and ourselves.

Dreams Within Dreams is built entirely from field recordings captured in churches, temples, and other places of ritual. The EP marks Moontide's use of exclusively analog synthesisers for the drums and melodies, which respond to these recorded environments.

The work explores the acoustic properties of these intentional spaces, their reverbs, silences, and ambient textures. Each track layers these field recordings with analog synthesis, creating compositions that exist somewhere between documentation and interpretation.

Well this set comes at a pretty emotional time for me and to be honest i found putting it together a bit of a struggle. Dedicating this one to someone very special to me and all the beautiful moments we have shared. 
For me all the tracks on here hold will always be a solid reminder of everything I've learned and experienced over the last few years.

In a time of chaos and concern for humanity, I also mourn the loss of my dear mother and most loyal friend, Ann. On the evening of Saturday 14th of March 2020 I was due to perform a set at Seven Sisters Festival in Victoria, but instead I sat with my sisters in the hospital and held mum's hand as she took her last breath.

Through my pain I decided to record a studio mix based on what I had planned for the festival and today I would like to dedicate this piece to Ann. 
Escape from this global turmoil into a detached euphoric space of harmony featuring some of my favourite healing tunes. My signature cello improvisation flourishes throughout this journey.

Mum, I don't know what the future looks like now without you in it, but my promise to you is that I will continue to share the gift of music with the world, the gift you gave me.

Deep Streams Vol 2

I am so pleased to share my performance from this year's Burning Man Virtual Festival - The Multiverse.

Incorporating live electric cello, electric violin, pads and mixing, this is a Playa-inspired journey that exposes the inner workings of my mind and soul at present day. I have found myself completely spun out by the rollercoaster that is 2020 but it is music and its community that has kept me from losing myself altogether. 

Burning Man, you are more than just a physical realm of pure magic, you're a philosophy that has helped guide me to be greater and it is truly an honour to be involved once again.
