A modern musician who combines different genres and styles in his work, such as electronics, ambient, dub. The nickname is R.Hz, which means “hertz” - a unit of sound frequency. R.Hz is known for his experimental and atmospheric compositions that give the listener the feeling of being immersed in another world. His music is inspired by nature, space, philosophy and poetry. He also collaborates with other musicians and artists. R.Hz continues to experiment with sound and explore new horizons of musical art.

<Menou / iwamaki> plays Drone＆Ambient techno DJ or LIVE in Japan.
She started DJ in 2015, at dommune in 2017, and played DJ at Contact Tokyo,VENT Tokyo,sound space α,kagurane soup etc...she started Live set in 2019. Her name when she plays Live set is Menou. In April 2013, she performed a live set at the Mostra Festival in Barcelona, Spain. In May 2023, at the spanish secret festival Perpendicular.
Her DJ&live approach is a deep drone journey. She's conscious of creating a deep sound with an approach of layering sounds.

2015年より東京拠点に趣味にてDJ活動を開始。
何層かのdroneの和音にexperimentalやnoiseを重ねたアプローチ。
2016年ドローン大学卒業。
2017年にはdommune出演。その後も神楽音、VENT tokyo、soupなどでDJを行う。
2019年よりMenou名義にてLIVE活動を始動。
2023年バルセロナMostra festival、マドリードPerpendicular festivalにてliveを行う。
Estrato Auroraとの共同トラックがFrequencia Introspectivaよりリリース。
7月にはOrbitandoよりソロトラックリリースなど、トラック制作にも注力している。

Droneベースに音の繊細な変化や展開を感じるアプローチを意識してDJやLIVEを行う。
