His most recent releases ‘Colour’ and ‘Mono’ dive deep into the ultra minimalist sound of a single analog synthesizer to create high octane psychedelic paganism music, both of which have been released on the UK’s Old Technology label curated by DJ Surgeon + Dan Bean.

Matt is the author of The Psychedelic DJ: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Music Curation and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy (https://a.co/d/3Rj3G4r), a guide for facilitators and psychonauts that combines DJ techniques, counseling, music curation, and psychedelic therapy. As a seasoned DJ, mental health counselor, and psychedelic guide, his work sits at the crossroads of music, healing, and expanded consciousness.

With over 30 years of experience exploring sound and psychedelics—from pioneering New York City’s early ’90s psytrance scene to cofounding the techno/house label Railyard Recordings—Matt eventually shifted his focus from nightlife to clinical psychology. Today, he runs Integrated Psychedelics (https://integratedpsychedelics.com), a private practice dedicated to guided journeywork, preparation, and integration support for psychedelic experiences.

"Psilocybin Therapy Protocol 2: The Shadow" is the second part of a four-hour DJ mix series I've created from hundreds of live psychedelic therapy sessions. Following Protocol 1 – The Light (available via ASIP's Isolated Mix Series at https://tinyurl.com/isolatedmix132), which focused on major chords and sublimation, this sequel encourages deeper exploration using minor chord progressions to uncover hidden aspects of the psyche.

Most of the uploads are, in proper Aphex Twin fashion, hyper conceptual they run the gamut from beatless ambient work, spacey acid trips, to pristine IDM, Detroit-tinged tracks and dark techno. A lot to digest with over 300 tracks. But after browsing through the entire upload catalogue, I have found some incredible gems from the UK master and decided to make a mix out of it. Oh yeah, and the mix is free to download. Dig in and do some window licking !
