While each performance is unique, this one was unique-unique because it was part of the closing party of the beloved FOMO club in Białystok [PL], which is winding down after three years of great events. 

I prepared something special for that night and instead of just playing a set, I performed 100 % my own material, which is a small tribute to this wonderful institution. Yes, the venue was indeed an exceptional one and will remain in my memory for as long as synapses will allow. 

Thank you Dtekk, Konrad, Kamil, Mifi, Adam and the whole FOMO crew! How wonderful it was to be part of this story! A truly beautiful journey <3

He is part of the @hivemind-techno collective, which aims to connect audiophiles. The project has the mission to discover up-and-coming talents and spread their unique vibe to the community.

In 2020, STNDRD launched BAHN· Records, hand by hand with BAHN· collective, where he is an active member since 2019.
Diogo has shown his skills in the main clubs in Barcelona, where he is now based, but also in some European cities like Oporto and Braga (PT), Berlin (DE), Sofia (BG) and Cluj (RO).

Denise Rabe joins for DifferentSound Podcast #216.

Denise Rabe´s experience in the Berlin techno scene as a booker, radio host, promoter and dj since she relocated to German capital drawn by the possibility of a life in music, is reflected in the pragmatic, grounded artist she became and the unique, original voice she's developed as a producer. Her approach and work ethic can be seen expressed on every release she's done under her label, Rabe, where her music is matched with an equal amount of care, thought and work, in the vessels that contain it, within a coherent aesthetic and vision that informs music, artwork and presentation equally.

This has allowed her to recruit the artist who´s work resonates with her sensibility and can be heard in the remixes Rrose, Shxcxchcxsh, Headless Horseman, among others, have done for her releases on her and other labels. Imprints such as Mutewax, who released her first 12" in 2015, ARTS where she quickly became one of the label´s staples and Stroboscopic Artifacts where she published "Manifesto" in 2019, are clear reference points that describe her career and its development. 

Rabe’s particular inclination to sparse industrial soundscapes, gothic aesthetics, driven grooves under hooks that hypnotize as much as they distinguish, have propelled her 10 year career across stages all over the US, Asia and Europe, as well as the clubs that represent the apex of techno world wide such as Berghain and Tresor.

He has got familiar to different forms of techno, his style ranging from a sound usually hard and dark, often with industrial influences, to a very different one, deeper and more mental, both still easily recognizable as coming from the same mind. He began an education as an audio-engineer and sound-designer, in music and especially in television; currently he does this alongside his artistic career.Over the years he has released music on many other important labels such as “47”, “Perc Trax”, “Modularz”,”Mord”, “EarToGround”,”Genesa”, “ Planet Rhythm”, also with some great collaboratiom, fisrt of all with the Serbian artist Scalameriya, with Giorgio Gigli and Conrad Van Orton.
Currently he has been handling the label “CRS ltd”.

Exploring the vinyl labyrinthes of Europe, Benabou has found herself inducted into the eclectic effervescent of the techno world. Drawing influence from notable labels (Token, Polegroup, Eaux, Semantica, WarmUp…), she delivers a project with experimental resonances. Her curious expeditions have led her since a young age to accumulate strong inclinations for the fluid and vaporous resonances of jazz, soul and psychedelic music. This results in a natural tendency to adorn her tracks with ambient and ethereal synths that immerses us into a dark and hypnotic dimension.
