Furtherfell is an AU, split into several branches, portraying the various hypothetical neutral endings of the 'canon' Underfell. In this instance, 'canon' refers to the version on Tumblr, created by the infinitely talented Fella. They don't actually consider it canon, but for Furtherfell it most certainly is. It is inspired by the concept of Aftergore, though only in concept and not in execution. Our story follows a human by the name of Hare, entering a world they do not understand, that has been forever changed by the actions of someone they've never even met.
We won't be 100% accurate to Underfell; some elements may be changed, either due to a lack of information or just due to us wanting something to differ.

Furtherfell - Rethroned follows on from an incomplete pacifist ending. Toriel comes out of hiding, and establishes herself as “Mother” of the underground, making swift changes to how things work. She maintains a strict rule, attempting to prevent another reign of tyranny. Humans are to be treated with kindness, and to be delivered to the Queen.

Undyne takes the role of Napstablook. After being demoted from leader of the royal guard, due to her savage ways, she took off to the RUINS with Alphys! She's mellowed out a bit, from not having much of anything in particular to do other than helping Alphys, who's slowly been driven into madness. But, when a new human falls down, her old hatreds re-emerge..

UNDERFELL: Everfall - DEPRIVATION

* (The water violently crashes against the rocks as it passes by, threatening to sweep anyone off their feet if they step too close.)

Waterfall is relatively similar to its UNDERTALE counterpart. The waters are harsher and more dangerous, and the echo flowers' whispers seem more sinister, but overall it has not changed. However, this area is also the domain of the Great Papyrus! His Guard Headquarters is situated here, and he watches over it like a hawk. Though it seems peaceful, there isn't a moment where Hare isn't in his sight...

In Furtherfell R, Mettaton doesn't want to kill the Human anymore. He's turned a new leaf, realised the error of his ways and that everything he has down here is more than enough for him. However, Dr. Alphys has other plans, and is using what little power she has to remote control him, forcing him to use his vast array of techniques to brutally murder the Human. Mettaton does his best to protect you from himself, but there is only so much control he has left.

Furtherfell is a series of AU’s, set after Canon Underfell's various hypothetical neutral endings. It is based off of the concept of Aftergore, and has the same protagonist in the new human, Nex. This may differ in some points from Underfell, whether it be due to there being no information yet or simply things we decided to change.

It says here FURTHERFELL is a SERIES of AUs, what are its variations?

FURTHERFELL has several variations to represent the different neutral outcomes which UNDERTALE (and therefore UNDERFELL) can have. We do not have all of the hypothetical variations possible out as branches, since that would take too much work, so we only have Incomplete Pacifist (Rethroned) King Mettaton (Drama! Romance! Bloodshed!), King Papyrus (Vive La Révolution), and.. That one doesn't exist. Also there's a self insert.

How do neutral endings work? Are you using the Trust, Betrayal, and Closure system? 
FURTHERFELL does follow the Canonfell system of neutral endings, which is explained here.
