Furtherfell is an AU, split into several branches, portraying the various hypothetical neutral endings of the 'canon' Underfell. In this instance, 'canon' refers to the version on Tumblr, created by the infinitely talented Fella. They don't actually consider it canon, but for Furtherfell it most certainly is. - Head to Hotlands or your nearest TV for your daily fix of drama! Mettaton may not appear on-screen, but a worthy substitute has been found.
- If you seek a little romance in your life, head to Snowdin village to partake in the King's mandatory matchmaking scheme.
- Finally head to Wastefall, the garbage dump of this world, if you'd like a little bloodshed in your life. The Overseer's gladiatorial arena is the perfect location for you to get your LV rising and your hands adequately dusty.
So whether it be Drama, Romance or Bloodshed that you seek, MTT has you covered.

In this branch, Mettaton decided that the best way to appease the violent and brutal side of his utopian Resort was to give the people an outlet. And so the Colosseum was built! Overseen by the only person the King knew to be good at black comedy, that being Sans, monsters are left to brutalise one another for the prize of a trip to Mettaton's hotel.
Technically they aren't supposed to be killing one another. But let's be real, nobody's enforcing that.

It says here FURTHERFELL is a SERIES of AUs, what are its variations?

FURTHERFELL has several variations to represent the different neutral outcomes which UNDERTALE (and therefore UNDERFELL) can have. We do not have all of the hypothetical variations possible out as branches, since that would take too much work, so we only have Incomplete Pacifist (Rethroned) King Mettaton (Drama! Romance! Bloodshed!), King Papyrus (Vive La Révolution), and.. That one doesn't exist. Also there's a self insert.

How do neutral endings work? Are you using the Trust, Betrayal, and Closure system? 
FURTHERFELL does follow the Canonfell system of neutral endings, which is explained here.
