The first descent into The Sinking House unfolds in two minimal,
pressure-soaked pieces. “The House Beneath the Water’s Crown” and “The
Lake Won’t Let You Drown” trace a slow drift through submerged
memory—drawn from the Gardner Lake legend.

Built on deep textures and restrained movement, this release lingers in
the quiet tension between being pulled under and choosing not to
surface. There are no jump scares here—only the weight of stillness, and
the soft persistence of things left behind.

This remix release is comprised of four different ideas, evoking highly versatile interpretations and styles that showcase a wealth of identity in this sound. Joining us on this new release are names like ABSIS, Rambadu, Octte, and Traversable Message.

This work serves as an exemplary follow-up to its predecessor, which already left us with acoustic material rich in hypnotic and captivating sounds.

It all starts with a discrete, almost instinctive percussive motif.
A loop that breathes, stretches, transforms itself without ever breaking the thread. Around it, the textures slowly take shape: a pad like a held breath, then sound fragments - glitches, interference, tension - that disturb the surface.

With the track Wadis, Biocym composes a shifting landscape where structure is never imposed but suggested, leaving each element to find its place over time. The modular sounds created in VCV Rack gradually infiltrate the sound space, creating a fragile dialogue between calm and disturbance. The result is a subtle tension of unstable equilibrium and rhythmic hypnosis.

Wadis Variations extends this spell through four singular rereadings by Piante Vive, Sauvage Dub Trio and Arto. Each artist takes ownership of the raw material, transforming it to reveal new forms: a deeper pulse, a wider space, an unexpected vertigo.

An EP like an oasis in mutation, where each variation reveals a new facet of sound material.

The summer solstice will be here soon, and it's time to bring you the eleventh instalment in the ACCENTEP series, dedicated to the custom format and promoting music that's both contemplative and designed for travel and techno clubs. Akob, a talented duo of producers based between Paris and Berlin, have graced us with an opus that is resolutely sensitive and chamber, offering their vision of a nocturnal techno music that is hypnotic, atmospheric, bewitching and minimalist, with a magnificent sound design that invites us to drive along the country roads at night, alone in our vehicle, discovering the chromatic oscillations of a pre-summer sunset.
