Just a month ago, Answer Code Request and Amotik washed Fuse over with a gripping 3 hours back-to-back. And among the countless ephemeral alliances that have animated our Room 01 in recent years, this pairing is hailed as one of the most harmonious and intuitive we’ve ever had.

With a constant, fluid rhythmic approach, Answer Code Request and Amotik combine the best of both worlds. Sometimes hypnotic, straightforward or uplifting, you don’t need more than a few tracks to understand that those two enjoy playing together. It’s a refreshing exploration of techno, departing from standardized formulas. And god, their palpable pleasure is simply contagious.

"November 2022 was the first time I'd ever played at De School and I remember the energy was extremely high as Claudio PRC was building the room into a frenzy, so I was pretty nervous to take over and do the closing. Luckily things felt very comfortable from the first beat and time just flew by - what a night. I was also very happy to play longer than planned!"

Berlin-based DJ and producer Amotik has been making waves since moving to the city in 2014. Known for his driving, energetic, and atmospheric sound, he’s established himself as a force in modern techno, both behind the decks and in the studio. His self-titled imprint launched in 2015 with a series of EPs, leading to guest spots on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure.🔊

His debut album, Vistār (2019), and follow-up Patanjali (2022) received acclaim from Mixmag and Groove Magazine, who recognized him as one of their top 30 producers for 2022/23. 2023 marked the launch of his label AMTK+, a platform for artists that inspire him.💫 With appearances at Berghain, De School, Fabric, Fuse, Khidi, and Printworks, Amotik’s reach continues to grow. 

His SPND20 Mixtape marks a return to his roots, diving into house music—a rare mix under the Amotik name and his first official house release. It’s packed with tracks he used to play, even including one of his own early productions. Though he doesn’t often play house, recent closing sets at Panorama Bar have shown his range, and this set brings that energy home, recorded on 3 XDJ1000s + Xone96 mixer. Last year, on November 30th, Fuse welcomed Denmark's Mama Snake to our control room in light of her Amniote Editions night.  With an untamed aura spreading through the space, the dark hours were marked by hypnotic, slightly mental, and utterly intense temperaments.

Snapping between writhing acid lines, crisp tribal rhythms, and trance-laced techno, her selections struck a perfect balance between the meditative and the manic. The floor was hers: fluid, fierce, and full of intent. A reminder that mastery doesn’t always shout; it listens, reacts, and dares to draw outside the lines when the need knocks.

Back in August 2024, in the final stretch of summer, Ancient Methods b2b UVB took us on a three-hour ride to the end of time and back. A post-industrial vortex pulled us in, where deep mechanical grooves met tight rhythmic control in a set that was both punishing and hypnotic. The pacing was expertly crafted, grinding tension, explosive peaks, and moments of eerie restraint, all delivered with a raw, analog-driven energy that kept the floor locked in. In January 2025, as the new year cracked open with sharp edges and fresh momentum, DJ MELL G stepped into the booth at Fuse to deliver the 35th instalment of the series. Setting the tone with swagger and intent, DJ MELL G tore through bass-heavy detonations and sleazy machine funk, sculpting a world of sound that was as gritty as it was infectious. It was a fast-paced, screwface workout. Unrelenting, playful, and full of surprises. Lock in and relive a slice of that electric night right here.

REC 36 w/ Konduku

Let's head back to Fuse on January 4th for two hours of technical, percussive and ambient soul. Intertwining minimalist techno, UK-influenced bass, and polyrhythmic grooves, he kept the listener focused in dreamscapes as he reflected his influences from labels like Nous’klaer, Spazio Disponibile, and his distinct attention to unconventional time signatures or drum work. We met Amotik when he played the closing at our 1st anniversary. Since that moment, everything felt organic and warm, just like his closing track 'Knights of the Jaguar'. We share a birthday, so our paths will be linked forever, and we're super grateful to have him in the PAX-COLLECTIVE!

REC 37 w/ Innershades

Back on June 7th, Fuse resident Innershades took over in the Motion Room through a moment that dived deep into his signature fusion of electro, acid, breakbeat, and early trance influences. Raw, eclectic, and emotionally charged, his sound nods to '90s rave culture while staying sharp and relevant throughout the journey. REC 37 is a no-frills, high-intensity recording, authentic to the floor and true to his roots.

Excited to have one of our favorite artists Amotik back on the show this week! Amotik takes the first hour and resident threehz follows in the second.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Amotik has been quietly making waves since his move to the city in 2014. Known for his driving, energetic, and atmospheric sound, he has cemented his position as a versatile figure in modern techno, both in the DJ booth and the studio.

Debuting in 2015 with a series of EPs on his self-titled imprint and later making guest appearances on 47, BPitch, and Figure, 2019 saw the release of his debut album, 'Vistār,' accompanied by a live tour, followed by the release of his second album 'Patanjali' in 2022. Both received acclaim from notable publications such as Mixmag and Groove Magazine, firmly establishing Amotik as a visionary producer. Groove Magazine, in particular, lauded him as one of their top 30 producers in their 2022/23 yearly poll.

2023 saw the launch of a new record label, AMTK+, providing a platform for like-minded artists who inspire him. Alongside his label endeavours and a touring schedule that has taken him to Berghain, De School, Fabric, Fuse, Khidi, and Printworks, to name a few.
