After many months of closure, fate smiled upon us this past New Year’s when Paquita Gordon (Italian vinyl-cognoscente and Terraforma resident) paid us a visit to dust off the cobwebs at Horoom. An avid explorer, in her travels as much as her bringing together of like-minded musicians for experimentations in sound, there’s a freedom in her craft. For this, the last hour of her set, she channels this libertine energy with the type of fun, high-octane amalgam of sounds she’s come to be known for. Sedef Adasï joins us for the very first instalment of our new podcast series. We’re inviting fabric artists, special guests, and rising talent alike to curate a specialist guest mix for us, dropping a new exclusive every few weeks – watch this space.  

HAMAM Nights founder and newly appointed Panorama Bar resident Sedef Adasï handles our inaugural edition, delivering a solid 60 minutes featuring tracks from Luke Vibert, Gerome Sportelli, Isaiah, Friedrich Ernstwith, DJ DISRESPECT and more, with an unreleased tune in there too.

Turkish born, Germany-based DJ Sedef Adasï is a genre-hopping specialist; known to blend anything from tough, psychedelic acid, accelerated techno, rough house and glistening, warping electro. Her mix for us, expertly glides through a rich selection of the above – readying us for her very first appearance – of many, we hope – in our main room next month.

Being named a resident at Berghain is likely an unattainable dream for so many DJs, but for Sedef Adasi, it all happened naturally. The Turkish producer grew up in the mid-sized Bavarian city of Augsburg, where a lack of spaces she felt comfortable with—she's mentioned DJing in shoe stores—led her to start her own party, HAMAM Nights. From there she made her name with a vibrant, diverse sound that encompasses breaks, electro, techno and more, with soft-focus melodies and plenty of vocal hooks. She's one of the first residents at the legendary club to truly reflect the glorious cross-pollination of dance music styles in the '10s, when techno absorbed ideas from dubstep, garage and more. 

Adasi represents both floors of that club, and you could imagine this RA Podcast going down in either room, but of course, she exists outside that club's narrative too. What you'll hear here is a cutting-edge and dynamic blend of electro and Latin techno—with two tracks from 2022 MVP Nick León—mixed with grace and finesse. Her sound is immediately approachable, well-paced and full of catchy moments and breakdowns. Listen and find out.

Superski is a dynamic duo made up of heavy hitters Voiski and Eliott Litrowski. Together the pair have teamed up to collaborate on new music based around a common love for analogical synthesizers and their vision of a colourful and positive club culture. 

Their music is fun, euphoric and rooted in all the things that makes dance music great.

In respect of influences they draw upon a great deal blurring the lines between House, Italo and Techno and there is something very 80's about the whole undercurrent behind the project. Think led lights and sunsets.

We invited the pair to record a mixtape which represents their sound and what they have delivered is a masterclass in funk - a no holds barred affair packed with energy and wild cuts.
