This is one of my first experiments with the amazing Famitracker, a sound tracker made for creating NES/Famicom music.
Very useful and funny to create Videogames music but also for reinterpret every genre of music.

I've been loving Queen since my childhood, and I totally go crazy for Brian May's overlapping guitar style. "Procession" is one of the most amazing album intros ever. So this is my "chiptune tribute" to one of the greatest bands in the multiverse.

this is my take on "Electric Zoo" from SpongeBob SquarePants! it is in beatnik's rich music format (RMF), and i used samples from the 1993 namco game Cyber Sled mixed with instruments from the built-in beatnik soundbank. with such a short composition to work with, i tried my best to give it a fun spin in my typical jazzy, oldskool electronic style

"The music for Temple Entrance particularly stood out in Tekken Mobile due to its spicy chords, so I felt it would be fun to arrange this one. High energy modern EDM is admittedly something I still find tough, so I ended up revising the mixing several times after finishing the arrangement. The track then goes in an ambient direction before transforming into an arrange of Lotus Hall's theme from Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, another underrated banger."

As far as I know this is the longest NSF that uses the 5B musically, exclusively, AND uses all of its features (envgen, noise, multimode channels, mode combos). This is basically me making an MSX play music at half its normal clock speed, except the chip is on a cartridge and it's the Famicom.

I like this song solely because it is in an odd time signature; 10/8 is pretty strange but it does sound hella good.

Despite this being able to run on almost any YM2413, I made this using the Famicom's VRC7 chip, which is a trimmed-down YM2413, which itself is a cost-reduced YM3812. Crazy, huh.

My only regret is that I never added a Mega Man 10 song after it came out.

Personally, I think this version is loads better than the lazy approach Nintendo took to it.  If you listen closely, you will realize that their version is actually polyphonic (the notes overlap for about point one seconds), as if the game uses a kind of MIDI like SoundFont.  In fact, that might honestly be the case, what with how changing from the modern to the eight bit version of the same song in the soundtrack menu audibly turns on the eight bit and fades that out instead of fading out the modern one and then playing the classic variant, and even vice versa!
