Roshan is a photographer and the Founder of SaturdaySelects; a creative agency specialising in music, events and artist management based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Roshan is driven by the different genres from around the world including House music, Disco & Afro rhythms. Having opened for the likes of Soulection artists esta., Joe Kay, Andre Power, Jael, The Whooligan, Yukibeb and other notable DJs such as Branko, Peggy Gou, Dixon, Bambounou, Cezaire & Yung Bae, he looks to consistently keep his crowd grooving and dancing all night long at his shows. It’s no secret that the Netherlands, with Amsterdam at its core has become home to some of the most forward-thinking DJs out there, with artists like Jarreau Vandal, Jael and FS Green just some of those who’s sets are both thrilling and unpredictable, with a Soulection-inspired sound that stands at the forefront for the city’s new wave of producers and DJ’s now coming through.

One of those making a name for himself both in and outside of Amsterdam is @melledj, a young DJ and edits connoisseur with an insatiable thirst to bring smiles on to peoples faces with his carefree and fun brand of edits and mixes. Moving from sun-kissed r&b to feelgood house and afrobeat as he transitions through his selections, it’s no surprise his tracks have been supported on BBC Radio 1, Apple Beats 1, Soulection Radio and Diplo & Friends, to name but a few.

For the (thankfully) sunkissed month of August, we’re thrilled to have one of our favourite producers over the last year in to deliver an About To Blow Mix of breezy beats, tender jams and melodic bops, evoking happy times and hot conditions, perfect for the summer season both in and out of lockdown.

For our 7th set we had the honor of giving platform to one of Amsterdam’s finest - @bnnyhunna 💥 Coming off his latest contribution as producer on the So So Lobi 2 project, Benny continues to ride the good energy wave, delivering a superb hiphop set, embellished with freestyle elements on the keys.
