HIDDEN LABOR IN THE SHADOWS OF DAWN

Well I almost scrapped this song but after 3 weeks writing words, and then realizing how fun it is to sing, i kept it. I'm trying to figure out how to add a little lightheartedness to my music, but i think this one just turned out creepy lol. NOTE:  I always felt a little uncomfortable with the words, i just really didn't like them, so I reworked the chorus and a few other lines, and rerecorded the vocals. It seems a little better now...

I'm very pleased to get to work with Karl's music yet again as we have collaborated on many projects together. When I first heard 'Haust' (Icelandic for Autumn), I was haunted by the richness of the bowed sound and the grinding industrial textures that spoke to me about the extreme environment in Iceland (https://soundcloud.com/sesar/haust). This is a song that started with Ian (IPG1 aka Lou) and his amazing vocal stem, of which I really identify with the lyrics. He has a plethora of vocal stems, so if you're interested in making a hip hop song, you did hit him up. He shared this psychiatrist l particular one with Tez (Llanpsych), who put a beat and guitar on it. Tez then sent it to me, and I added the bass and the synth. Then Tez put the solo part in there along with the effects. he mixed and produced it, and an excellent job he always does, too. This is my first foray into making hip hop, though I've listened to plenty. Hopefully there will be more to come.

The ancient metropolis of Istanbul probably derives its name from the Greek 'Stin Polis' ('in the city')(according to Sean Lusk's excellent book 'The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesly)having previously been Constantinople the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
This incredible city spans the continents of Europe and Asia and reflects aspects of both in its culture and people.

Some time ago, I needed to do some thinking about my DTM system and was reviewing my music data.  At that time, I suddenly noticed this song by Mrs Rhymes.  About a year ago, I think.  I had a preliminary recording of my guitar to go along with this wonderful piece.  Remembering that, I played it back and listened.  I didn't like my guitar playing, even though it was just a temporary recording for notes.  I don't think the sounds and phrases I used at that time match the original song.  Compared to that, the original song is still great.  So I grabbed my guitar and started recording.  A few hours later, I was in the process of uploading my freshly finished work here.

The key of this song is C#, and I think that what we should be aware of as a performance style is "B♭m/C# pentatonic".
I do not mix tapping, sweeping, or other fancy playing techniques in my guitar playing with this outstanding piece. I tried to keep the accompaniment very simple. This excellent piece, which I picked up as an example this time, will be finished with two things in mind: "B♭m/C# pentatonic". However, in a blues scale song, one song uses four pentatonic forms. Therefore, first of all, I believe that it is very important to be aware of "two things" on a daily basis and to practice guitar playing repeatedly.

And before we understand it in words, what we value most is the encounter with works and artists that we can continue to enjoy playing along with our favorite music as many times as we want, even ten times if necessary. Right?
