I wrote this his song imagining the days when travelling large distances by foot was normal and the hardship encountered by a traveller on a long journey when the winter weather closes in......

This is about my deep fascination for medieval polyphony,  its developments and for classical contemporary experimentation. In my view, the ''Ars Subtilior is as modern and contemporary as anything rediscovered since Edgar Varese LOL:)
A mix of amplified voices, placed in two groups of 3, for alto and soprano, semi aleatory, at a different interval to try and get a balance of length, lyricism and form going, accompanied with "reduced" percussion (timpani,cymbal). Inspired by the wonders of medieval ''ars subtilior''.
