The Canadian-Norwegian experimental threesome Bjarte (drums, bass, vocals), Ronny (bass, guitars, synths, vocals) and Layla (vocals, guitars, keys) merge trip-hop, electronica, progressive-rock, grunge and a hint of new-wave, resulting in a categorically elusive lovechild known simply as Failed Athletes.

Despite whisperings of similarities to the likes of Tool and Portishead, FA consciously strive to avoid reewriting musical history, acknowledging their position on the shoulders of giants who have gone before them while unabashedly breaking new paths.

Failed Athletes do not care for the Theatre of the Stupid known as sports, but urge everyone to sink to their level where, musically, everything is permitted.
