Description: This Prelude and Fugue was written in Summer of 2025 inspired by J.S. Bach's WTC 1 and 2.

I wrote this piece coming out of a particularly bad writer's block that lasted over 6 months. When I get these blocks I tend to go to the bible. I had written out parts of this Ave Maria in another piece of mine and decided to make it a canon for sax quartet. My decision for sax quartet was due to the organ like quality a good sax quartet can produce.
