MC Woody hit us up out of nowhere and dropped a USB on us—no tracklist, no notes, just pure dubplates. All unreleased, all Woodysworld Records. He said, “Make a mix. Don’t ask questions. Just run it.” Classic Woody move.

We were hyped. A bunch of our crew Battle Of The Planets is signed to WWR, so we snuck in some of our own dubs too. The whole thing turned into a full-blown ID showcase—some tunes might drop, some might never see daylight. That’s the beauty of it.

We jammed the set live at the private release party on top of the WWR factory. Rooftop vibes, skyline views, and the kind of setup only Woody could dream up. After the set, we asked if we could put it online. He just laughed and said, “F^&ck it, we’ve got 100 releases coming—show ’em what they might or might not be able to get.”

He didn’t tell the rest of the label we were doing it. Watching the reactions from the other DJs and producers was wild. That’s Woody—loose unit, full trust, zero red tape. We’re proud to rep the ten of us in the crew and all the artists on the label with this mix. Big love to the boss man for letting us go rogue.

"We play a lot of 100 BPM in our sets as we are very highly influenced by the dons, Koan Sound. We played a set one night and the transition from 100 BPM to 174 was always a task. We had the idea to create a banger with a tempo change in the middle. So that when we play some glitch hop bangers, we can easily transition back to DNB. This idea then stemmed the creation of Redshift. We had a lot of fun making this track and we are stoked to release with Kinphonics. Big ups!"
