Item 01: X Becoming / X Became

Smoke curls to meet hushed night from embers of long campfires now extinguished within rusted walls of past memory, open to the sky. Silhouettes slipping through slender paths now painted by celestial illumination not of this earth, not of this flesh, write for us a new passage in time. 

A tale of longing, late night paranoia, and lights in the sky, X Becoming / X Became is the very first musical item created and released by A Virtual Memory. Conceived from February to April of 2017, it represents a complete reimagining of Sneaker Pimp’s 1996 LP “Becoming X”.  Made in Audacity, each song is reconstructed solely from elements found in its original counterpart with absolutely no added external features of any kind. 

All credit is due to the artists involved in the making of the original source LP, for without them this project as a whole would never have exited in the first place. This item is not nor will it ever be for sale in any fashion; it will always be completely free for you to enjoy. A sincere thank you to all of those who gave their input in helping to realize this piece, your critiques and inspiration are invaluable.
