Middle of the night. Moonlight and melancholy and anything to numb yourself to forget. This is the stage of Leila, the new single from Gabriel Benedek.
Benedek succeeds in immersing the listener with his latest song in a world of emotions that could hardly be wider. And this with minimal resources: only with a guitar and his unmistakable and comfortably smoked voice can Gabriel Benedek wrap the listener warmly.
The song was created in collaboration with Benedek's producer Marco Casagrande from Vigaz Beats. "Gabriel has a persistent, provocative, creative nature in the process of creating the songs. It is an interplay of two worlds in which Gabriel usually has very specific ideas." Says Casagrande about the cooperation.

Leila loves to flirt, she gives men hope, but in the end she always pulls back, leaving her suitors with broken heart and downcast expectations. She only wants love, but through her actions she destroys everything beautiful around her.
The song Leila is about love, loneliness, the escape from reality and the conscious search for the zero point.

Benedek gelingt es den Hörer mit seinem neusten Song in eine Gefühlswelt eintauchen zu lassen, die breiter kaum sein könnte. Und dies mit minimalen Mitteln: Nur mit einer Gitarre und seiner unverkennbaren und wohlig angerauchten Stimme vermag Gabriel Benedek den Zuhörer warm einzuwickeln.
Entstanden ist der Song in Zusammenarbeit mit Benedeks Produzenten Marco Casagrande von Vigaz Beats. „Beim Entstehungsprozess der Songs hat Gabriel eine hartnäckige, provokative, kreative Art. Im Song Leila geht es um Liebe, Einsamkeit, die Flucht vor der Realität und der bewussten Suche nach dem Nullpunkt.
