This is 90% the selection played at Outro Lado on Thursday afternoon at Waking Life 2022. Thanks to the fantastic crowd for the open-mindedness and the energetic dancing. Also much appreciated the various personal feedback!

Marble Bar is one of my favorite clubs, ever. A hidden gem in Detroit. I've been there since the beginning when they opened back up during Movement weekend in 2015 with a sunrise set from Thugfucker. The 4 point Void system on the patio is absolutely killer. Thought we were going to be there for a few hours, which turned in to 5.

A wicked night that started with Damo B playing on a loosely B2B tip with Owain as they jointly delivered a smooth vinyl session deluxe, exploring their mad collections of deep, grooving, funky house music with a few techno licks thrown into the mix.

Gilbert then stepped up for a LIVE electronics set, performed off-the-cuff and exclusively composed of his own material. Astonishing music that will make you wish you were there!

We’re excited to share the Far Blue perception of Zürich-based Serenne with you today. After catching her live this summer, we were pulled in by the way she blends lush, dreamy sounds with darker moods. While keeping things subtle and immersive, she brings that same energy and depth to this one-hour mix.

“I recently had a conversation with Ben Kaczor, who mentioned an artist I hadn’t heard of before: Hilma af Klint, a Swedish visionary whose work immediately spoke to something inside me. Touched by her paintings, I printed two of her blue-hued pieces — The Ten Largest, No. 1 (1907) and Childhood and Primordial Chaos (1906–1907) — hung them above my setup, and started recording this one-take mix, letting myself drift into the world they opened.

But as I listened back, I found myself entering something else entirely — something that goes beyond those paintings — something deeper, something that transforms. A space beyond sight. That’s where the journey begins for me. And I hope that, for whoever listens, it becomes something personal too. Maybe even a small doorway to something deeper, something invisible… just as Hilma found through her art.

This mix also features beautiful tracks from many dear friends — I feel grateful for each of their creations.”

Magician On Duty is proud to present the latest chapter in its acclaimed Journey Series — a deeply emotional and culturally rich set by wilson.solidarity, the German DJ and producer with Bengali roots, and a key member of Berlin’s Rebellion der Träumer collective.

Known for his unique blend of melodic and oriental techno, Wilson.solidarity crafts a sound that bridges continents and emotions — music that moves forward while keeping one foot anchored in his Indian heritage.
