From early breakout hit "Phat Dope Shit" in 2002 to "Heavy Heart", a new collaboration with Skrillex and Fireboy DML, Dice has always been in the headlines. After his debut album "7 Dunham Place" on his own now long-running and well-regarded Desolat in 2008, came the major label follow-up "Underground Sound Suicide" on Ultra Music with guests like Giggs, Just Blaze, and Neneh Cherry, then the agenda-setting and club-focussed house and techno showcase that was "Love Letters" in 2018. 

Add in tens of EPs on Ovum, Minus, Cocoon, to name a few, and his remixes from everyone from Kevin Saunderson to Moby, Black Coffee to Disclosure, Warren G to Basement Jaxx, Loco Dice has always been at the beating heart of the electronic scene. 

His DJ sets, too, always brim with personality, whether in a small underground basement or on an iconic main stage at some of the world's top festivals like EDC Ultra, Tomorrowland and Coachella to name a few, playing to thousands. He has had era-defining residencies at iconic Ibiza super clubs like Circoloco at DC-10 and on the Amnesia Terrace as well at Space Miami. 

His lockdown move has been to unveil En Coleur, a label reserved exclusively for his own music produced at that time. SB Recordings followed. A new label open to all styles of dance music.

Since day one Loco Dice constantly pushes the boundaries of techno and house music production, from his appearance in 2004 PlayStation2 game "Decks & FX" to cooking up his own ideal fusions of hip hop and electronic music with his FKD side project or writing critically acclaimed runway soundtracks for Italian fashion designer Marcelo Burlon during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan for both FW20 and SS20.

Dice's distinctive fashion sense and strong visual aesthetic manifest in his collaborations with Amsterdam fashion label Daily Paper, pro sports hat purveyors New Era and in his own clothing brand Seran Bendecidos. 

All of this and his longevity prove that Loco Dice is undoubtedly an insatiable creative force most interested in the uncharted territory between genres and styles, the elements that link everything together.

Remaining true to the values of our Desert Hearts Family and born from the minds of Marbs & Evan Casey, our new imprint aims to add another dimension of musicality to our ever-expanding movement of love. Focusing on heavier sounds, musical exploration, and the depths of late nights and early mornings, Desert Hearts Black has been set in motion to project the endless internal journey onto all of those willing to dig deeper. For Sam Walker and Gavin Royce, the question is the fundamental test of their studio output. Simple as it may sound, for this perfectionist pair it’s anything but. Their innate dance floor intuition, combined with years of experience behind the decks, drives them to create music that isn’t just playable — it’s irresistible.

First introduced by way of New York City's early-aughts dance music scene, Sam Walker and Gavin Royce first teamed up for a remix in 2011. The duo found early success on tastemaker labels like Crosstown Rebels, OFF Recordings, and Moda Black, scoring an Essential New Tune nod from Pete Tong with 2014’s “Sister.”  The indie dance and deep house sounds that informed Walker & Royce’s earliest work soon gave way to something different. Quirky accents and bouncy synths, previously deeper in the mix, leapt to the forefront, backed by a propulsive new energy. The success of their November 2015 “Bright Lights” remix was a clear indication that they were onto something.

In October 2017, Walker & Royce released their debut album Self Help on Dirtybird, which both showcased and expanded upon their now-signature sound. The guys enlisted numerous vocalists, including Green Velvet, Dances With White Girls, and Sophiegrophy, to make Self Help feel like a packed house party – while leaving no doubt about who was hosting.  Self Help was followed by further experimentation and growth. Sam and Gavin have collaborated with Claude Vonstroke, Ardalan, Chris Lake and VNSSA just to name a few as well as remixed Channel Tres, LP Giobbi, The Knocks, Justin Jay, Gorgon City, Mindchatter; and put out music on Relief, Black Book, HotBOi Records and more. Their Rave Grave EP was the inaugural release on Diplo’s house-focused imprint Higher Ground.  Continuing to push boundaries, they have launched their own label Rules Don’t Apply Records, with the ethos just as the name states…No Rules, just good music.

Walker & Royce have spent years honing in on their one-of-a-kind style, meticulously crafting the sounds they want their fans to hear in clubs, at festivals and in their headphones. The result is a cohesive, career-defining body of work that firmly places the duo at the forefront of dance music's future.

Cindy B - Bio 
Cindy B is newer to the DJ scene but it only took her 2 years to land a residency at Homewood Mtn Resort in Lake Tahoe, Ca. She not only played every Saturday and Sunday for the skiers and riders, she also curated special guest DJ lineups for both mid mtn and the base lodge bookings. Her desire for invoking emotion and facilitating deeper connections thru her music is her driving passion. A raver since the late 90s, she started out holding down dance floors from aprè ski events to Black Rock City and on to the San Francisco underground. Now this pandemic prodigy, based out of the West shore of Lake Tahoe, is catching ears far and wide with her sparkly repertoire of deep house, funky house, afro/tribal house, organic house, bass house, tech house, melodic house and break beats! She can warm it up, tease it out, and put it down. She has played numerous festivals such as FnF, Northern Nights, and Lightening In A Bottle. She has also opened the door for bringing DJ’s to the world renowned aprés ski scene at Le Chamoix in Palisades Lake Tahoe. You can likely catch her in Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sacramento, San Francisco, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, Miami, Las Vegas and on Groove Cruise! She has provided support for all-stars such as Jody Wisternoff, Mark Farina, Dave Dresden, Scottyboy, Louise Dee, Drums of the Sun, Ollie Sanders, Cocodrills, and Beau Sebastian.
