group A is a Tokyo experimental electronics, minimal wave & violin female duo band formed by Tommi Tokyo, Sayaka Botanic.  
Tommi Tokyo (synth, drum machine, vocals) and Sayaka Botanic (violin, tapes and sampler) released 2 studio albums and 1 live album in Tokyo, before to move in Berlin in 2016. With their mixture of dark minimal synth, avant-noise, striking visuals and performance art, the duo still carries on the very breath of early industrial pioneers such as Throbbing Gristle, Die Form, Klinik, Cabaret Voltaire.

Their first release coming on 2012 with a series of  self releases until 2015. Then Mannequin Records had a vinyl release in 2017 called “group a”.  Kashual Plastik released on 2018 Circulation EP.  2 years later in 2020 we find them again on Alessandro Adrianni's  Mannequin Records with the release “anOther”.
The same year, released  a vinyl edition of group A's first full length studio album self-released in October 2013 only in CDR format. 9 tracks of genuine experimental minimal electronics. 
 The following mix  drive us on an one-hour journey of industrial, experimental, outlandish beats and avant garde sounds with an idiosygrasic attidute. Enjoy!

Claudio and Davide have been building their discography over the last year with releases on labels such as their own Marguerite Records and Warsaw-based Syntetyk. Musically, the duo lies somewhere on the border between dark synth-wave and EBM, but their second label, Tocca Il Futuro, showcases their affinity for the eclectic. This week we're excited to welcome Chris Mitchell to the series. This Tampa-based DJ and producer has co-founded the Annunaki Cartel, sister label of Chicago-based Vanguard Sound, with releases by Joey Anderson, Jasss, and others. His own productions have found homes on labels such as Diffuse Reality, Clan Destine Records, Vakant, and many others. His most recent two EPs are on Squirrels on Film, which is run by C.L.A.W.S. and Solar, and his own recently launched label Feral Colony. He also hosts his Descendants radio show among Mutant Radio's great programming. Lock in for an hour of raw electronics finely selected by one of the best in his field.

Since mid-2020 Cliff Dalton has been influenced by 80’s soundtracks. Setting about to create a blend of dark robotic mechanical and deep electro. As an artist, his use of conceptual themes is constructed of elements that create dense atmospheric soundscapes. Probing as an interface between harsh reality and pure fiction. He reveals a surrealistic emphasis on sonic particles into the realms of electro.

The Dutch West Coast, home of the Hague, where Cliff Dalton resides, the home of a new producer for Specimen Records 2021. Although not new to the world of producing with several years of recording and playing in studios, his attention to detail has helped him develop a retro mapping onto his perception of the future. Possibly influenced by Underground Resistance and Drexciya. This accomplishment becomes a metaphor for any small group of people who are battling against a system. The album is an observation of what’s happening right now around us. Our interaction with technology and media pervasion and the rise of cybernetics, in a world dominated by corporate ideals.

Especially for our podcast, Cliff Dalton has recorded a rather touching and captivating story with unreleased tracks.

Hoshina Anniversary is one of the most interesting and engaging electronic musicians releasing right now. With recent records out on ESP Institute, Osàre! Editions, YOUTH and Alien Jams, the breadth of styles alongside the volume of releases is a reflection of Hoshina’s prolific and all-encompassing approach to making music. His record Jomon from earlier this year is a prime example, taking influence from jazz and fusion, the use of electronic alongside traditional Japanese instruments make it one of the best and most idiosyncratic dancefloor-adjacent records of the year so far. Whilst Hoshina’s music has a distinctly Japanese feel to it, the influences of percussive UK sounds and Detroit techno are also very apparent in his productions.

Chris Mitchell is a DJ, producer and label owner. He is no stranger to a rising South America scene, or to the bonafide establishments of  Concrete (Paris), Tresor /  Griessmuehle / 
://about blank (Berlin), Propaganda (Moscow). Starting out of Tampa in the '90s as a hip-hop DJ, Mitchell has come a long way from his street mentality and blue collar background, but it no doubt influenced his approach to sound, ranging from futuristic and soulful to raw and gritty. He's built a profile for himself as co-owner of the Vanguard Sound label and its sister Anunnaki Cartel with partner Amir Alexander. With Anunnaki Cartel and Vanguard Sound they have had several successful releases, with producers such as Traxx, DJ Spider, Hakim Murphy, Dakini 9 and Joey Anderson. He has released and remixed on a variety of labels such as Pildoras Tapes, Squirrels on Film, Sistrum, Plan B Recordings, Proper Traxx, Concrete, and music licensed for an Otsgut Ton compilation.
