Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, Alpha Sect is a project of George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. With already 4 EP releases on prominent labels such as OSM Tapes, Kein Rauch Ohne Feuer, Pildoras Tapes & Forkha, Alpha Sect strikes back with a vinyl release on SOIL RECORDS end of November '21 and has also signed two more vinyls on two major Spanish labels that are to be released in 2022. @monopurple is an artist, photographer, merch designer and DJ from Russia. Since 2013 and still living in Germany (Erfurt, Thuringia) she is a part of the local club scene.

monopurple is also one of the main members of Berlin events @transition_bln, doing its visual image alongside DJing for the club nights. As well as her visual oeuvre concentrates her sound selection on "out-of-space" experience and involves mutual mixing of dynamic breaks/electro tunes together with beloved 90s progressive house/trance banger and groovy basslines.

This mix takes off with some rhythmic and deep breakbeat experiences, pulls up through euphoric housey tunes, reaches the point on a couple of darker acid/trance moments and complete this metamorphosis with the enlighten prog trance journey.

Glasgow has always been closely associated with techno - from the heady days of the 90's through to the present, the city has always loved the harder side of the dance.

Nemoa and VXYX are two DJ's emerging from the city's underground presenting futuristic, fast paced, hard dance music with their own spin. they've each cut their teeth over the years running and dj'ing at parties across the city and have found a home at La Cheetah where VXYX launched a party called Eutony and Neoma plays as a resident.

Over the coming weeks we will spotlight a number of local artists from across the city who will be performing at Riverside Festival. Neoma and VXYX will be a special back to back set on the banks of the River Clyde and by the sounds of this mix it's set to be a hard, relentless affair.
