Splits is a new series of releases from OO Recordings that focuses on connecting two artistic minds into one split release.

The first installment is a Nordic affair with Iceland's Jónbjörn on the A-side and Finland's Torolf Stendik on the B-side. Though stylistically operating in different shades of electronic music, both artists share a knack for relentless experimentation, ingenious use of their chosen array of sounds, and Nordic quirks that are hard to put a finger on. The release spans a spectrum of glitchy experimental with hints of IDM and minimalistic techno with industrial twists on the A-side, whereas the B-Side combines slower, downtempo-ish tracks with deeper house cuts with acid tips.

Having been fans of both artists for years, we're more than thrilled to present to You the meeting between two mind-bending talents. The release is mastered by Noah Kin.

Introducing the DJ and producer Porter Brook as our guest who will be joining RARRI on the decks tonight. 

He has been making waves in the broken beat and 🇬🇧 techno scene since 2018 with releases on Groundwork, Electroménager and Left Right and Centre, whilst also being a staple of both the Sheffield and Manchester club scene, supporting artists such as Tim Reaper, ANZ, Helena Hauff, LCY, Re:ni & Laksa. In 2020, this earned him a residency at Sheffield's infamous Hope Works club. Just recently he moved to Leipzig and we're very excited to have him!

We are observing the metamorphosis of our friend Han Solo - who already released two oddcasts here - to @gysey_gregorowitsch ' Mara who can no longer be determined by one genre and who learned quickly how to let dancers fly beyond the dance floors. He is an integral part of @spartacus-potsdam and our little intergalactic family which is bonded by the love for music, DJing, dancing and organizing events that provide safer spaces, from where we can sow the seeds of subversion.

Mantissa release a new EP from Bristol based producer Bex. This is her second release and comes hot off the heels of a late 2021 release which made quite the statement.
