“JEFF’N” is a creation crafted solely from the 909 kit, featuring creative time signature changes that drive the tracks' grooves. All sounds are generated from the 909 kit and re-sampled slices from FX Send Feedback Loops. The Drone is from a (Piston Honda) Module I dubbed it “JEFFING” originally during the session due to the way the samples, particularly the snares, and the way they phased. Reminiscent of techniques I've often heard “Jeff Mills” employ in his Jams/909 workouts. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it…"
