Paul Liddell is a working musician/singer/songwriter/recording artist based by the sea in the North East of England. So far he has released two solo albums and 3 EPs. His first album ‘A Lighthouse Keeper’s Diary’ was released on his own label ‘Regulus Music’ and was distributed in stores around the UK by Universal/Absolute, and his current album, the excellent ‘Milestones  And Motorways’ is a proudly home-made and independent release.

Paul is an experienced live performer with an unstoppable work ethic, clocking up on average 20 gigs a month both solo and with his band ‘Delphians’  for the past three years. Live, his singularly unique voice and unpretentious delivery combine with the use of live sampling, guitar percussion and layered vocal harmonies to provide a great platform for his wonderful songs to shine. Paul has also toured in America, whipping up a storm in several little coffee houses across California. While there he performed on a TV show filmed in Time Warner studios in Hollywood, and got his song ‘Brighter Lights’ placed on a nationally distributed and TV advertised folk compilation CD. 

Other live highlights include a show-stopping performance on the main stage at the Beverley Folk Festival, and a memorable show at the Piperine Free Festival in Milan. Other artists Paul has shared billing with include Beth Rowley, Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Karine Polwart, Polly Paulusma, Kathryn Tickell, Nick Harper, Amy Wadge, Nerina Pallot, Billy Bragg and Florence And The Machine.

Paul’s songwriting and performance have been recognised throughout the industry, claiming awards for ‘Best Male Artist’ at the International Acoustic Music Awards, a finalists place at the Independent Music Awards, and a winning place in the International Songwriting Competition.

Other notable achievements include making it through to the final 10 of Q Magazine’s Glastonbury competition, being named as the hardest working, most gigging songwriter of 2010 by the PRS, and selling over 3000 albums and EPs solely at live performances.

Paul is currently unsigned and unrepresented, building a cottage industry into something more in a purely independent, DIY fashion.

A unique and abrasive rock outlet, Gallery Circus have quickly gained a strong reputation for delivering breathtakingly powerful live shows . Hailing from South Tyneside, Gallery Circus consists of identical twins Daniel and Graeme Ross.

The band have just finished recording their new EP The Night Country.

Adapting their name from the infamous ‘Gallery Cabaret’ in Logan Square, Chicago, Gallery Circus began in this open mic party spot when the brothers decided to move to the USA and befriend the DIY punk scene, playing shows across makeshift venues in the city. After another year slumming and gigging around America’s west coast, they decided to swim back across the pond and released their début single Supercell. This song was featured as Radio 1’s BBC Introducing track of the week. Dan and Graeme played a great number of key festivals including Glastonbury (where their Sunday performance on the BBC Introducing stage was voted as one of the top 25 performances of the weekend by the BBC), boardmasters, Kendal Calling and YNot.

Soul Technique create chunky, bass driven pop funk that you just can’t stop humming. Since the release of ‘The ST EP’ in March, they have gained local, national and international attention:
* Their track Move with Me was chosen as Myspace Tune of the Week, by Craig Charles on BBC 6 Music.
* 'Move with Me’ and ‘Ugly’ have had regular airplay on Rai Radio 2, a national Italian radio station with a listenership of over a million listeners.
* BBC Radio Newcastle have been playing ‘Move with Me’ regularly on the More than Soul Show with Nick Roberts.
* They packed out World Headquarters Club, Newcastle for their EP Launch Party.
* The band reached the North and Scotland finals of national competition Live and Unsigned.
The story so far... Soul Technique formed late 2007, through a mutual longing to bring something different to what had become an indie dominant music scene in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was time to shake things up! Their first gig was in March 2008 - a Battle of the Bands competition to win a place to perform at Newcastle’s Green Gathering Festival that summer. The band went on to win this against stiff competition from the region’s finest, and played the Green Gathering in August 2008, to one of the biggest crowds of the festival. Since then, Soul Technique have been relentlessly gigging the local circuit in the North East, attempting to spread their chunky, bass-driven pop funk to every corner.

Steve is a composer, drummer and film-maker based in the UK. In 2008 he graduated from The University of Manchester with a 1st Class honours degree in Music, followed by a Masters in Composition.
He is the founder and Musical Director of the Kaleidoscope Orchestra – an orchestra for the 21st Century; whose mission is to bridge the gap between Classical music and other genres.

Steve has also worked on several projects and commissions for the BBC, including a National Lockdown Orchestra, which Steve arranged the music for, produced the recording and helped with the video editing. It was aired across BBC TV and radio.
In addition to Kaleidoscope, Steve is the drummer and one of the composers in Riot Jazz Brass Band. Since 2009, the band has performed at festivals around the World, including shows in Russia, Andorra, Italy, France, Croatia, as well as UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Kendal Calling, Womad, Boomtown and El Dorado.
Steve also composes and produces his own music and in 2020 released 3 piano albums which were featured on BBC Radio 3.
