Under his own name ‘sasja’, Belgian musician/producer Sasja Maekelberg blends analog synths, field recordings, and crackling beats into rich, impressionistic soundscapes. Add his distinctive voice and the result is haunting: a unique sound that feels cinematic, danceable and intimate.

Op zijn schrijftafel aka piano staan halfvolle tassen koffie, een fles rode wijn, een smeulende sigaret in een asbak. Gedreven door het onbenoembare gevoel van het comfort van thuis te verlaten en de stad in te trekken schrijft Gaminconnu over het net niet waarmaken van dromen, het tuimelen in een duisternis, de rauwheid en schoonheid van de stad.

As an artist, Brent Gillaerts does not put himself in a corner to leave room for his musical development. Due to his young age, as an artist he realizes that the efforts of the future will further refine his musical direction and fully embraces this development. 

He founded "96," a DJ movement. This influences his own methods and ever proactive attitude to rediscover his atypical sets or return to methods that an audience appreciates.
