What an excellent (and brave) idea, Viv. I’ve always loved players who use the Bass guitar as a lead instrument, so this gets a big thumbs up from me.

Kudos for this idea.  I have some similar ideas floating around--I mean the "Fools Rush In" types.  To me most of the fun of music is experimenting.

Really creative idea to do this on bass -- and some great playing.

I was listening to this piece recently and thought that It may translate to electric bass. This is my interpretation played on my Peavey bass.

Just discovered that a search on youtube turns up loads of electric bass players performing this piece! There is nothing new in this world. Most are playing it an octave higher though, which seems a cop out : )
