Live from the final party ever at the legendary BLLNBSSMNT.

This is a snippet recorded from a longer set, starting at 4am and ending around 10am (after which I was joined for a b2b session by the enigmatic Chaz).

The BLLNBSSMNT was, and still is, my favourite place to play in the world. Decked out with incredible sound, a gorgeous Rane rotary and most importantly, the finest individuals ever to grace a dance floor. 

I, and many others, will miss this place immensely. It played a huge role in the coming together of many underground people in the community, and was truly a place where you never had to worry about anything. 

At the BSSMNT, you were always welcomed with a smile. 

Long live the kangaroo ranch.

One of our longest serving staff members @AlexEgan serves up the 13th mix in our Friends & Family series. The set features 60 tracks across 4+ hours and is the first to be filmed live.

Alex currently works part-time behind the scenes on Phonica’s labels and full-time in production for @Ninja-Tune. He also runs a handful of his own labels including @U-t-t-e-r.

Spend the morning with Dave Okumu, the guitarist, singer, writer and producer behind this week’s Sunday soundtrack. For the series, the London-based artist brings together music from Duval Timothy, Björk, Thundercat and Lizzy Mercier Descloux – alongside a song from his band the Invisibles – for an easy, breezy and funk-tinged set fit for days like these.
