Brothers Lee and Nick Meldrum burst onto the scene in 2016. It’s been a high octane time for Brighton two-piece SONS, who have recently signed to emerging label 'End Of The Trail Creative' (Family Jools/Pip Hall). 

Darlings of incendiary rock n’ roll club night This Feeling, all four singles have been heavily rotated by indie/rock radio luminaries Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, John Kennedy and Alex Baker - as well as impressing the likes of Kerrang Magazine, Clash Music, Team Rock and GigSlutz. They also have two live radio sessions under their belt, for Radio X and BBC Introducing.

Meanwhile, the band have taken their cacophonous live set on the road, gigging up and down the country with highlight sets at Reading Festival, Isle Of Wight Festival, The Great Escape, a European tour in 2018 and most recently Obstwiesen festival, Germany 2019.

With explosive vocal melodies and buzzsaw riffs that could wake the dead, if you like it loud, anthemic with sharp and catchy hooks you’ll love SONS!

Distant Correspondent is a band whose members include David Obuchowski (also of Goes Cube), Edith Frost (solo artist, Drag City Records), Michael Lengel, and Emily Gray (formerly of Meanwhile Back In Communist Russia). Fully formed in 2012, the band worked in secrecy before announcing itself to the public in early 2013. A wave of press quickly followed with Maura Magazine, and Aquarium Drunkard both premiering songs, the Vice music channel, Noisey, premiering a music video by award-winning filmmaker, Heather Crank, and Oh My Rockness profiling the band. In April, 2013 Distant Correspondent signed to Denver-based indie, Hot Congress Records, who will release their debut full-length later in 2013.

Ólöf Arnalds is an Icelandic singer and multi-instrumentalist. Classically educated on the violin, viola and self-taught on guitar and charango, Ólöf’s most distinctive asset is, nonetheless, her voice. A voice of instantly captivating, spring water chasteness possessed of a magical, otherworldly quality that is simultaneously innocent yet ancient (“somewhere between a child and an old woman” according to no less an authority than Björk).

While she has been favourably compared with the likes of Vashti Bunyan, Judee Sill and Kate Bush, Ólöf’s approach to making music remains highly individual: playful but intimate; accessible and uplifting, yet deeply personal and suffused with a timeless mystique that goes beyond the puckish inscrutability of her native tongue. Ólöf has also quickly proved herself as a magnetic, utterly self-assured stage performer, reliant as much on screwball humour, vaudevillian charm and even outright bawdiness, as much as the contrasting delicacy of her song delivery.

Originally released in 2007, Ólöf’s debut album, Við og Við was included in both eMusic and Paste Magazine’s 100 Best Albums of the Decade lists. Ólöf was named Iceland's Composer of the Year in 2010 for the songs on her second album, Innundir skinni. The record also made Uncut Magazine's Top 50 Albums of 2010 and was nominated for the inaugural Nordic Music Prize.
