Forty Roses are a distinctive, extraordinary and unforgettable band of talented musicians who reside in various parts of British Columbia, Canada. Lead singer Cameron Latimer’s inviting voice is an impressive burrow to the band’s charming, authentic and honest lyrics void of cliché. Rick May’s, extensive experience in bass is prevalent in his accompaniment, and his style is well suited to the concise yet non-formulaic nature of the band. Adam Dobres, on lead guitar provides vast experience in polyphonic sound and transports his sonically palpable heart and soul to each tune. Bill Hicks on drums rounds out the quartet with ample percussion to melt this sound into a profound musical experience. 
Dobres on lead guitar brings his extensive skills in a number of styles including Rock, Jazz, Psychedelic and Roots music. Dobres has played alongside Ridley Bent, Canadian fiddle legend Daniel Lapp and Vancouver songwriter Dustin Bentall. Additonally, since 2011 Dobres has been touring with the Country-Folk icon Ruth Moody.
Drummer Bill Hicks plays with the David Gogo Blues Band and has recorded with Canadian Jazz icons Diana Krall and Tommy Banks. Bass player Rick May's skills derive from his rich and diverse experience. May has collaborated with an impressive bank of musicians such as Andy Summers of the Police, Michael Jackson, Rickie Lee Jones, Depeche Mode and Taj Mahal. 
Latimer started his music career with a band in the same vein as Forty Roses called The Seams with their self-produced debut album Castaway Motel in 2004. Latimer released his critically acclaimed debut solo album Fallen Apart in 2008. Prior to Forty Roses Latimer built an impressive writing and performance lineage. He has co-written songs with musicians such as Ryan Guldemond of Mother Mother, Ridley Bent, Dustin Bentall, Tom Wilson of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Rueben deGroot and Luke Doucet of Whitehorse. 
After a number of collaborations with other performers Latimer and the band came together in 2014. Forty Roses are inspired by Alternative-Indie-Folk-Rock acts such as Wilco, Elliott Smith, Gram Parsons and Neil Young. Forty Roses present a sweet breath of fresh air. Their sound is complex and timeless. Although Forty Roses are influenced by Alt-Country and Indie-Rock, their particular sound might be described as Contemporary-Indie-Psych-Rock infused with the gritty roots of Country music.  
Their sound has been described as “Rattling the gilded palace of 60’s California country that made Gram Parsons a latter-day legend” (John P McGlaughlin, The Province). Forty Roses’ debut album will be released appropriately in the early summer of 2016. The album will be co-produced by Ryan Guldemond of Mother Mother who pays astute attention to the detail that Forty Roses deserve. Watch out, everything will be coming up roses when this album drops.

GLYDE has been on the rise in the WestCoast music scene performing at Shambhala Music Festival, Blessed Coast, Artswells and others since 2017.

It was a Red Moon back in 1975, an alien spaceship crash-landed in a field outside of Johannesburg. A small blob of goo was ejected from the foreign inter-stellar vehicle and splashed against the belly-button of a beautiful young South African woman. She didn't shower that night as she was considering becoming a hippy. 
A few months later GARVIES was flushed into the ocean where he lived on fish &amp; seaweed until his teenage years. One very bright sunny morning he was seen by an elderly man with a cane walking his dog on the beach, emerging from the rocky shore-break on The Bluff with nothing but a shitty warped Spanish guitar with some goo on it. 
He was later reported seen skateboarding the mountainous downhills of the N2; various sightings in J-Bay &amp; some in Hermanus. There were rumors he was seen playing bass in &amp; around Cape Town. There were reported sightings in London &amp; Newquay (England) in the late 1990's and more recently in Toronto &amp; Vancouver, Canada.

Recently performing his third vinyl 45 set at Shambhala's legendary Fractal Forest stage for the Sunday afternoon Funk Jam, hosted by the Smalltown DJ's. 

His sets are genre bending and he's notorious for blending in his own unique style.

Always keeping the ear guessing and the dance floor moving hes been gaining notoriety playing gigs all over Vancouver island and beyond.
