Igor Gonya is very much an artist on the move, behind a string of excellent labels he has firmly established himself on the scene over the last few years. Broken is concept about the affects coming to this world can have on a soul. To such a degree the soul is altered from its original peaceful kind loving state to a disagreeable, hateful, spiteful and damaging one. This world has a way of breaking innocence. 

The might of this world causes the mind to not comprehend that maintaining a childlike heart is the best way to defeat evil. Many hearts are defeated or are broken by evil eventually!

Pete Herbert drops the second release on Paradise Row - the imprint he and Dicky Trisco set up to release their own output. 
Mango Moon is a very Herbertesque number pumped full of musical influences from House to Italo to Disco, but with an eagle eye at all times on driving the dance floor really wild. Pedro demonstrates his years of experience as both a producer and a DJ in a track that captures so much of the territory he has covered in both guises over the years. With its pumping live disco underbelly, its melodic Italo-style keys riding on top and its rock solid drums, it really is a very classy production by a DJ producer who knows where he wants to go and how to get us all there at the same time.
Meanwhile on the flip, his label and DJ compadre Dicky Trisco flips the track in a live disco direction with an epic take of his own that throws more than a few surprises into the mix. Dicky teases the dancefloor with a long build up but just wait until those wicked keys by Faze Action’s Robin Lee drop in.  Quality stuff.

Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
