Duncan's 49North rolls back into town with another 4 track smorgasbord.

Kicking things off is EP lead - 'Slow Burn 2049' - a track that rides aloft a raw breakbeat drum pattern - whilst plush, ambient synths billow out gorgeous, windswept melodies. Then we have D's very own re-rub of '49North EP3''s 'Omnite' - a beastly slab of purposeful Techno, that appears to pay homage ever so subtly to a certain, much-loved 80's classic in the process.

Cooper Saver then steps up to the 'Slow Burn 2049' remix plate - delivering an entrancing piece of slo-mo, percussion-laden magic; before the mighty Locked Groove takes us over the finish line - twisting Duncan's 'In The Mansion Of The Gods' into a dark, dub-washed Techno titan.

As a composer and vocalist, his voice often compared to Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, resonating not only in his personal projects but also in collaborations with French and international producers such as Demuja, Jean Tonique and Oden & Fatzo.

As the lead singer of the Secret Value Orchestra, the indispensable live band of D.KO Records, Larry Houl showcases his talents surrounded by Mézigue, Flabaire, Paul Cut, and Mud Deep.

Larry Houl continues to affirm his distinctive imprint and resonate with electronic music enthusiasts worldwide. We're delighted to welcome him back aboard The Disco Express with his first solo EP on the label.

For many in underground music, the words Back To Basics mean only one thing - the chaotic and anarchic Leeds house party founded by Dave Beer. The GLBDOM label is slowly broadening out that definition though with this ongoing series under the same name. It's been good to date and this third volume doesn't disappoint with Manuold, Bress Underground, MacLO duo, Jon Billick and Scruscru all offering up their own takes on deep house. From the mid-tempo and cosmic to the more raw and punchy, via the loopy and the future-facing, it's a classy collection.

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
