Growing up a classical pianist, Generoco increasingly gravitated towards the realms of jazz, funk, and blues to become aligned with his musical taste today.

The influence of his deep love for the jazz-funk and disco instrumentals of the 70s shines on through on his first original EP, with deep and funky driven basslines, bluesy keys, emotional strings, and swinging percussion.

Accompanied by stellar vocals from Karmina Dai and passionate saxophone player WayneOnSax, the EP is an ode to the fusion of modern day house music and the harmonies of indulgent 70s instrumentalism. The icing on the cake is the oh-so groovy remix of “In The Music” by Hotmood, which re-interprets the track in a brilliant way.

His sound draws inspiration from his adoration for bedrock arrangers such as Gamble & Huff, Norman Whitfield and Randy Muller, as well as modern day producers like Hotmood and LTJ Xperience.

Record collector music hoarder and  DJ since the mid 80s ... 

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
