On the First remix is Brighton based producer Tech Support. “Coconut Mall really caught my ear with so many huge elements, I wanted to strip it down to its most basic, becoming a loopy club affair built for the middle of a set. There are small flourishes here & there but for the most part it retains a driving rhythm taking reference from Italo & electro of the late 80s with a souped-up modern feel.”

After “Refined”, their first release on Thisbe Recordings back in April 2021, Radial Gaze are back on the label with “Tetra Seeds”, their brand new EP.

The two St-Petersburg-based brothers , Andrey – electronic musician and producer, mixing and mastering engineer – along with Stas – sound designer, guitarist, and theatre director – stay true to their identity : In “Tetra Seeds”, they deliver an irresistible blend of slow techno, ethnic-infused electro, and percussive wonders.

The digital EP includes 4 original tracks and 4 remixes by Dominik Marz, Balam, Semodi and label owner Pyrame.

Printed on a yellow vinyl, and featuring 3 of the originals as well as 3 of the remixes, the 6 tracks 12″ is a limited edition with astonishing artwork by Maksim Cherny.

A record label specializing in cutting edge electronic music. Whether you are standing in the middle of the dance floor at a club, riding your morning commute in the train with your headphones on or finding new inspiration in the studio — music is able to completely break us from reality, providing a sense of warmth and comfort that gives us the energy to carry on. It is by this ethos that London-based DJ and artist Vass curates the newly-founded label The Comfort.

Gloomy futurism, sharp snares, enthralling melodies and rich basslines, Dj Lo-Tek’s is Sohrab’s alias for off-kilter hardware based jams. The debut release for The Comfort is a contemporary dance EP in four stages. Music made with basic equipment in a low life area of town that, surprisingly, is in itself not so basic at all. The flip side hosts “Powa”, the heaviest track on the EP, designed for peak time action: big, hypnotic and playful in all the right ways.

Batumi-based producer Four Walls is back after a seven-year hiatus. The first time around he made some standout cuts for the likes of Traxx Underground and Kolour LTD but this time around he finds himself on the new Ultraworld Records imprint from DJ Craft. 

This one kicks off with the lush prog house and silky synth arps of 'Mind Charger' which soon takes you to the stars. 'Metamorphosis' is a more raw-edged and acid-laced techno stomper for peak time action and 'Summer Nights' is a bubbling, elastic tapestry of new age overtones, thudding kicks, and trance-tinged pads. A remix by Toronto-based Pletnev adds another dimension to this club-ready EP.

Malaga by Radek Senfeld is a vibrant progressive trance piece, inspired by the sunlit spirit of the Mediterranean.

The track opens with a cinematic orchestral prelude, where lush strings and warm harmonies create a feeling of rising hope and quiet strength.
It transitions into an energetic, rolling progressive groove, driven by deep basslines, shimmering synths, and uplifting rhythms, evoking the feeling of endless sunlight and forward motion.
In the final phase, “Malaga” gradually softens into a serene, emotional ending, like the last rays of a golden sunset.

For the 11th release AM collaborates with Rio de Janeiro based label Outra, to shine a light on a lesser known era of the rich Brazilian music history. The record compiles six slightly edited or ‘fixed’ late 80’s / early 90’s Brazilian pop songs that touch all basic elements of old school hip hop, new beat and electro: electronic beats, heavy use of funky (guitar) samples, rapping and scratching, except for that last track which is a sexy melancholic Portugese pop track that felt so good to end with. As usual in a white discobag hand-stamped with a little drawing by Frank Koedood.

Here comes the remix package for https://soundcloud.com/loweakauser ’s Plastik Tanzen EP which came out at the beginning of this summer on Vilnius’ freshly baked label https://soundcloud.com/where-were-we . Sadly, stems and original project of “Nepalese Honey” track has burned down together with Lowe Aka User’s hard drive, so remixes are coming only for “Palms Boulevard” and “Tanz Botanik” tracks.

The first three versions of “Palms Boulevard” were made from already well-known and established names in Italo field: Scotsman, always on point Donald Dust, Italian, Amsterdam-based and super-prolific Daniel Monaco and back to France from Hong Kong, proper edits master Romain FX.

Guys took rather different approaches for making their versions and all of them put their own spin on the OG. We hope that each and everyone of you will fall in love with one version or the other or maybe with all three of them, just as we did. The last version of “Tanz Botanik” comes from a local hero, Lithuanian talent and also known Italo lover Jonas aka Black Feeling. Although this version is the most housey from the whole package, we think that it compliments the entire pack very nicely.

Was resident DJ at the weekly Blast Club in Chester since summer 1988, Quadrant Park Liverpool 90/91 , Sweet Chester , Elevate Bangor   etc etc  .. Now Djing at Electrik Disko every fortnight, and throughout the summer we are in the outside courtyard area in The Commercial Bar Wrexham. Nice sound system and great location ..puurfect.
