'The Moorland Poet’ Ammon Wrigley (1861-1946) was a writer, historian, singer, song collector and artist from the hills above Saddleworth. Over the past few years I’ve been reading a great deal of his published works and he really does feel like such a proper friend to me -which I reckon is the mark of a truly great writer, especially seeing as that he died nearly eighty years ago. The setting of one of his poems here, from Songs of the Pennine Hills, is my attempt to do justice to his remarkable writings and character.

Woke Up This Morning/Feeling SadN Out Of The Sac

This year was a year of a lot of changes, a lot inner searching, isolation (not always voluntary), and gigantic steps in my personal development, my understanding of life, of society and love.  
Bella is a wonderful cat that told a story of how love is a big answer for a lot of things. I was in India for 3 months, and during that time my cats were living somewhere else with a dear couple in Portugal. Unfortunately one didn't survive a dog attack, while I was away, And when I came Bella tried to avenge her sister and almost died facing the dog. 
She came to my hope, and vets didn't gave me much hope. Me and my girlfriend spent 2 hours looking for her in a open field, near the house of my friends where she was living. After two hours my girlfriend just sat there, closed her eyes, and started meditating... and minutes later there was Bella, highly bruised and with very low life in her body spirit.
After long nights worrying and loving this creature, on my bedside, she recovered completely, and I really believe in the power of love... love made her Purr, and Purring helped her body regenerate. 
I can't a better blessing than sharing with you all the Purr of Bella, the Purr that saved her, and saved a bit of my soul. So here is a bit of love, in a track that blends Shanti Chimes, Birds, and the wonderful blue eyed cat, Bella.
