Formerly known as The Inconsistent Jukebox. I have been exclusively recording as m1nk with Erika Bach (lola demo) for the past 4 years and put the TIJ stuff on hold for a while. In between the next m1nk release we are both releasing solo material. Watch this space for previews of the new stuff.

Hossein RangChi (born 1984 - Dezful,Khozestan,Iran) started at 8 music with Ney instrument ; thus firstly listened to musical note by Ney . For some years he practiced the Radifs of Persian traditional music , and learned Ney Traditionally and experimentally. After some years, He started to learn Setar experimentally. "I was always, mostly influenced by regional and Maqami music." However , He just played traditional and folk music about 15 years ; with Ney ,Setar, and further, Violin . As internet developed ,He find a way to world music. From Electronic music of 80s ,to Folk/Rock ,Blues and Jazz and etc. Influenced by Bob Dylan ,He started do play Acoustic guitar and Harmonica, of course with a background of Persian traditional and Folk music. in these years , he had experiences in Electronic music. In this field ,He is mostly influenced by John cage, Edgard vare'se and Peter christopherson. In the sometime ,He both doing Electronic and experimental music, and playing Folk/Rock music with his regional accent.

Featured in Guitar Player Magazine back in November of 2006 with a review by editor & chief Mr.Michael Molenda for the track "Mind's Collide" with Begley's former project Solartistic.
Here are Mr. Molenda's comments of Begley's work- (“Mind’s Collide” Trippy stuff, here, but it’s also very commercially smart in the sense that it inserts a beguiling melody amongst the song’s bizarre swoops, noises, and cascading echoes. Guitarist J.S. Begley evokes Bridge of Sighs-era Robin Trower, and then starts playing like a Tasmanian Devil on crack. Fabulous. 

Although his guitar playing is a sound & style of it's own, he's been compared to such artist's as Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa & a Tasmanian Devil !? just to name a few by fans & critics.

 J.s. Begley is a true artist in the sense of his passion & love for the music.
