This is the first mix in our MamaMix-series by Mamagei-DJs @Raki (she/her) and @tiberiustoth(he/him).

Jumpstarting one of the first events of a local club after the pandemic with a dark techno set, both of them were able to bring out some of their old classics as well as newfound gems to move the crowd.

Dans quelles mesures les nouvelles générations contribuent-elles à un renouveau de la fête ? 
Ou plutôt, en quoi contribuent-elles à renvoyer la fête techno à son historique rave ? 
Des représentant·es de collectifs, de clubs, de free et de lieux alternatifs partageront leur expérience et leur vision d'une scène en perpétuel mouvement depuis 40 ans.

Rødig one of the most welcome guests of @molokolooza.
Preacher of electronic genres ranging from techno, breaks/electro to house, Rødig also vibrates on the acoustic side with Jazz and Funk. If he had to be born in another time in life and somewhere else, it would have been in Detroit in the 80’s - 90’s era where old school techno was at its finest.
To him, a good story is like groove. It needs to be catchy not to be boring like groove makes a track catchy and gives it rhythm. N°1 to N°1000 priorities in Rødig’s music are to give a strong sense of groove, the next thousand are to share a real emotion. Always keeping it fun, funky, or touching. That will be for sure what you’ll find in this mix or in his productions.
As a party enthusiast, Rødig also organises monthly party in Geneva (Switzerland) with his collective OTIUM DISTRICT. Additionally, he co-directs the label OTIUM RECORDS, with which is planned a big VA for the end of 2022, and the beginning of a sub-catalogue oriented towards, straight-forward and groovy techno tracks dedicated for DJs.

Oliver Lieb's “Subraumstimulation” is back as a remastered edition. First released in 1994, the record is one of the finest works in German techno history and has lost absolutely none of its power over the years.
