Wattsson's purpose for music has been forged from the start. Training in the classics as a singer & violinist combined with her nomadic travelling experiences during her youth, provided the roots for her far-reaching flavours, which ignited the fire that initially began as a mere spark, to become a DJ.

Because of her life-long obsession with music it’s not easy to summarise her sound but here goes: Deep melodic techno and chugging synthy house infused into a mystical story, wattsson’s is a sound that pushes boundaries, earning her a spot on festival line-ups across New Zealand.

International sound waves have called, and wattsson is now on the collaborative music-making pilgrimage worldwide, living a truly mobile life. She currently  finds herself in London & Ibiza for their magnetic summer vibes but always returns to her beloved New Zealand for festival season. 

Wattsson is on a mission to follow her calling: create feel-good vibes wherever her intuition takes her.

With the world as her muse, we can anticipate new releases mirroring the vibrant landscapes and cultures she's encountered during her journeys. From the emotive landscapes of Melodic to the rhythmic beats of Indie Dance, Magdalena's ability to connect with audiences worldwide is a testament to her artistry. 

Magdalena's international presence is truly remarkable, having graced renowned clubs and venues around the globe. Her performances include iconic destinations like Carl Cox’s Brooklyn Mirage event, Teksupport, Afterlife, Resistance, Ultra Miami, Miami Space, Watergate, Boiler Room, Cercle, Tomorrowland, Ibiza's Pacha and Amnesia, Watergate Berlin, as well as participation in major festivals worldwide such as Melt, Tomorrowland, and Sonus Festival.

Diynamic has constantly been an underground electronic music label on the rise. The motto: Do It Yourself. Founded in 2006 by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in Hamburg, nowadays undeniably amongst the hottest imprints worldwide: Diynamic Showcase events all around the globe, Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin and Brazil, two own weekly residencies on Ibiza including the infamous “Solomun +1” events at legendary night club Pacha and the Diynamic Outdoor event series as well as own stages at major music festivals everywhere.
