The first official track (and a much requested re-release) from Rúnfell and the new album "Vangheimr". Skjalfa is an old norse word for "tremble" or "shake" which describes the ongoing tensed atmosphere in a viking life. You never know which day will be your last, you have to fight and earn every minute of your life.

Fridr is the second album of 2018 by Danheim. 
This album contains a more calm side of the Viking age and is based a bit more on Ambient Viking Music inspired by the daily life in ancient Nordic times.

The existence of the “nine worlds” is mentioned in passing in a poem in the Poetic Edda.
The nine worlds are believed to be:
Midgard, the world of humanity
Asgard, the world of the Aesir tribe of gods and goddesses
Vanaheim, the world of the Vanir tribe of gods and goddesses
Jotunheim, the world of the giants
Niflheim, the primordial world of ice
Muspelheim, the primordial world of fire
Alfheim, the world of the elves
Nidavellir/Svartalfheim, the world of the dwarves
Hel, the world of the eponymous goddess Hel and the dead
