This is the first song from Gealdýr and it's based on the rune Othala. The meaning of the rune Othala is literally homeland or ancestral spiritual power. Othala is created to give you an ambient atmosphere where you feel the connection with nature and even perhaps your ancestral roots.

Ragnarök is an original song inspired by the Poetic Edda. It's telling the story about the end of life, but also about a new beginning. In the Old Norse way of thinking people have always seen life as a moving cycle. Something has to die to be reborn again. 
Tagelharpa is played by Kjirk (Jiří Hájek)

The first song of the EP is based on the Hymiskviða in the Poetic Edda. It’s a song about the famous story of the God Thor and the giant Hymir who went on a fishing trip and came across the Midgard Serpent Jörmungandr.

The second song of the Ep is a called Valhalla. It’s a very atmospheric, powerful and a bit frantic battle song. The true purpose of a warrior was to reach Valhöll (Valhalla) To die bravely in battle so the Valkyries will summon you home.
