My ideas are inspired by the styles of places I have been and lived: Chile my birth place, the UK, France, Mexico, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and now in Israel.
Each piece is unique, made with feeling, hand selected gemstones from around the world. I love to create, love to see people shaking their butts with my sets!!!

Melodic - Groove - Deep - Emotional

AND(W)Y is a German-born, Dubai-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of SixthSense Events UAE, a creative collective shaping the city’s underground sound. His music moves between Melodic Techno, Tech House, Minimal, and Progressive grooves. Driven by emotion and dancefloor dynamics, he blends cinematic melodies, rolling basslines, and hypnotic rhythms into cohesive journeys that defy genre boundaries.

His musical foundation was built early, discovering electronic music at the age of 13. With a background as a professional chef, his creative instincts now flow into crafting carefully structured DJ sets infused with both flavor and depth.

Inspired by the sonic worlds of X Recordings (by Adriatique), Radikon, and Anjunadeep, AND(W)Y has shared the stage with artists such as Tita Lau, Farrago, and Sarazar, performing across Germany, Europe, the United States, and the UAE.

In an era filled with constant noise and repetition, Read the News stand for individuality and
curiosity. Their name reflects a subtle message, inviting listeners to stay open, explore beyond
what they know, and discover new perspectives through sound.

Formed in 2020, Zurich-based duo Lukas Mayer and Ryder Ulmer began their journey as
producers and performers, quickly gaining recognition within Switzerland’s electronic music
scene. What started as a creative collaboration soon evolved into a distinctive project defined by
emotion, depth, and exploration across the spectrum of melodic house and techno.

From then on, their music began receiving recognition across the globe and soon after they
founded their own imprint, Read the News Records. Since then, they have released on Siamese,
Habitat, and Belonging, alongside running their label. Through collaborations and remixes with
internationally respected artists, they have further defined their sound and strengthened their
standing within the global electronic community.

They have played and toured in venues across the world, bringing their signature sound to
audiences from Europe to the Middle East and beyond. Read the News continue to evolve
artistically, crafting an ever-developing sound that blends emotional depth with hypnotic rhythm.
