Craig is a singer-songwriter and keyboardist whose varied mix of songs range from quirky to touching.

My name is John. I have been a broadcaster for five years and have been writing music and poetry for twenty years. I didn’t even realize I could read and write until I discovered I have mirror-touch synesthesia. I perceive everything from right to left: my poetry, words, and compassion. My childhood was challenging, to put it mildly. However, God showed me a way to help others through the words I share. Every song I write serves as a ministry. By addressing various issues, I hope to assist those with troubled pasts find healing through my words. I am a pastor, and this is how I spread God’s message—by feeling the emotions around me and understanding the feelings of the people I encounter, because I have experienced similar struggles. God allows me to see you in ways that others cannot.

The amount of attention, my music receives continues to amaze me!A big thank you to everyone of my listeners, and of course, those of you who ￼ have chosen to follow me! You inspire me! ☺️￼￼ ￼￼ a ￼I’ve written a few songs over the years and now that I’m retired and have all the time in the world, I’m dusting them off and recording them… For posterity if nothing else. I’m also writing some new ones. It’s a lot of fun! 

Now, a little about me… I’m a recovering alcoholic with over 36 years of continuous sobriety. I’m also a former pastor, retired now after 25 years. Five years ago, I lost the love of my life to ovarian cancer, so that also makes me a widower. And oh yes… i’ve been blind for over 36 years! in spite of all that, exciting adventures, new experiences and love continue to fill my life with joy! aimlessambience is the culmination of my 25 years of musical exploration, a project driven by a relentless desire to evolve and grow in both musicianship and production. With a deep-rooted passion for sound design and composition, I craft immersive landscapes that blend ambient, electronic, and experimental elements—each piece unfolding like a cinematic journey through emotion and soundscapes.

Music has always been a space for me to aimlessly explore, to capture fleeting moments of introspection, tension, and beauty. My sound is constantly shifting, shaped by a love for synthesis, glitch aesthetics, and the raw imperfections that make music feel alive. From intricate synth layers to hypnotic textures and evolving soundscapes, I aim to create something that resonates—not just as background ambiance, but as an experience that pulls listeners into a world of emotion and movement.

This project isn’t about staying in one place, it’s about growth and taking on new elements and techniques. Every track is a step forward, an experiment, a challenge to break past creative limits. aimlessambience is a reflection of that journey, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.
