My Eurorack Modular Explorations

First test of my newly arrived Mutable Instruments Rings module. Rings is being processed by the MI Clouds module. Additional sounds from MI Elements. Rings and Elements are being "influenced" by the Make Noise Richter Wogglebug and sequenced by two Moog Mother-32s (no sounds are being used from the Mother-32s. A Simple Beauty - Mutable Instruments Rings First Test

This is a simple example of me manually playing my small Eurorack setup in a live improv session. I wanted to explore how I can play this as a self-contained instrument with no sequencers or external effects. I only wish I had two (or more) Make Noise Pressure Points in order to have more than 4 notes to play...

And speaking of Pressure Points, the top row of knobs/tunings is being sent to the Mutable Instruments Rings module (which is then going into the Mutable Instruments Clouds module) and the middle row of knobs/tunings is being sent to the Mutable Instruments Elements. So when I play a touchpad on the Pressure Points, it is sending two different tunings to the two Modules. If I had a third voice, I can send the bottom row a different tuning as well.

Another live performance test, this time introducing the Mutable Instruments Braids module into the mix, along with Elements, Rings and Clouds. All modules being "influenced" by the Make Noise Richter Wogglebug. Played live in one take with no additional overdubs, external sounds or effects. This was just a quick, spur-of-the-moment test of my newly acquired, custom mirror-polished Radio Music module from Magpie Modular. I had just gotten home after an 8 hour day of work and a 3 and a half hour modular synth concert. I was tired... but inspired!
